Read any recent 5 star review of this firm and it is obviously fake. Normal people don't speak like that.
Would give two of three star otherwise but fake reviews force me to give one.
Service was not the worst but definitely below average.
As an immigrant, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Billy has been amazing from start to finish. After multiple bad experiences with other main players (Foxtons and Dexter not to mention them), I walked across B&R agency in Tufnell Park, and the attention to detail and the communication were already totally different. We are very happy with the level of service provided, and I couldn't recommend Billy enough. For Foxtons and Dexter, it was just "another deal", whereas for B&R I felt that they really cared and understood what we wanted. Once again, thank you !

I recently rented out my property through Benham & Reeves Highgate branch. Ivan Hrissimov, the manager, and his team had been most professional and efficient. From the initial consultation, Ivan truly understood my needs and requests, offering me options. All questions were answered promptly. The rental he suggested was spot on, resulting in viewings the next day, and a tenant found within the week! There were repairs needed prior to the start of the tenancy. Miles Baim helped sort them out efficiently, with clear communication throughout. Even the paper work, which I dreaded, was dealt with clearly and efficiently by Sylvana. Ivan and his team had done a wonderful job. I sure will ask for their help in any future property related matters.

We were mid-conveyancing on a property through another Estate Agent as FTB’s when it was sold without warning by Benham & Reeves to other buyers. We lost our new home, our legal fees, our survey costs, mortgage offer, and low interest rate. We even started looking at furniture!
Benham & Reeves not only condones “gazumping,” but clearly encourages it. What a shame that such a long standing institution has such unethical practices and little integrity.
Response: Nowhere did I say I registered with you and nowhere did I say you were unlawful. I said gazumping, which you welcome, is unethical. Any house buyer in the country would agree. Your practices and actions as a company directly affected me in my house purchase, so I left a review - to call me “unethical” for writing it is ludicrous. Buyers should be made aware of which estate agents have no problem encouraging gazumping so far into conveyancing. If you find this “perplexing,” that’s even more concerning.
My conveyancer was utterly appalled by you and your sellers (who were a faceless property investment firm).
