Jane Bloomfield was the star of the show when selling our property! All members of staff had fantastic customer etiquette and we're very polite but when I was beginning to feel others had higher priorities whilst I was selling my property, Jane always did exactly what she said she would do and without her I would've lost hope that the sale would go through in the end! She even stayed behind after work one day to call me before leaving because she said she would update me at the end of the day! Jane was also the person who initially negotiated our sale during COVID lockdown and closed the deal the day before getting furloughed! Thank you so much Jane! You deserve a raise! Blundells, do not let this fantastic worker go!
All the staff at blundells office were helpful, friendly and supportive. November was never an easy time to sell and all staff tried their best resulting in a sale before Christmas. Hayley was brilliant from the beginning in trying various ways to sell the property including open days, Katherine was kept me regular informed during the sale and Matthew was always helpful in cover when the other staff were not around.
I got a brilliant house in walkley and the company were efficient in sorting the admin side of things with me as well as communicating with me. My mortgage advisor was Alex Napier who I would recommend to anybody. Very good at what he does and he has always shown a good understanding of the market. He tried very hard to help me and my soon-wife to get the best possible deal for our money. So longs as you're on it with providing him all the paperwork that he requests. You can get a mortgage and a house in no time at all! Definitely a housing company worth your time.

Sam mainly dealt with the purchase of my new house which had lots of changes in the chain throughout she was professional, efficient and always on hand with any queries. Communication is key and I felt I was always kept up to date at what was one of the most stressful times I have ever experienced. Sue Pope was my mortgage advisor for my first house purchase. She made the whole process stress-free and straightforward. She was always available to answer questions, even on holiday, and she chased up both Solicitors and Estate Agents, checking in with me regularly, to keep me updated. Her advice was brilliant, explaining everything in detail, so I could make informed decisions. She is both friendly and professional and I would recommend her to anyone, wishing to buy, or remortgage a property.
Sequence of events:
Visit property. Arrange 2nd viewing and put in offer. Told "you are in a very strong position" intimating best offer so far. Telephone them later in the day and was told "not been able to contact vendor". Rang them again following day "still not contacted vendor". Rang again morning after "not heard anything." Said "please let us know and give us consideration if a higher offer is received." Told they would do. Received an email in the afternoon to say a higher offer has been accepted. No opportunity to put in a higher bid; nothing to say the vendor had even been contacted with our offer. Absolutely awful service. I would never use this company is I was selling. Its obvious we were strung along as bait. Who knows, probably sold a friend or colleague. But I would never use this company if I was selling is this is the way they treat potential buyers.
We have had excellent service through Blundells Gleadless, all staff were very helpful, Luke Morton kept us up to date with everything and was very pleasant and professional,
I would say that from the valuation to the sale we have had no complaints at all.

I cannot praise this lady highly enough for the way that she has conducted the sale of my property. She has chased the buyer and the solicitors on both sides relentlessly to ensure the completion of the sale and has kept me informed at a level above and beyond the expectation for an estate agent throughout the entire process (I'm pretty sure she was doing my solicitor's job at times).
