Abysmal customer service. They have failed to respond to any letters we have ever sent them and that's during the last five years. They introduced a contract renewal charge which has increased each year without any notification and have not had the decency to respond to my questions. Even sending things recorded delivery doesn't help they deny any knowledge of receiving it. They are partly the reason we moved out of the flat we were living at and 3 weeks later we are still trying to get our security deposit back with phone calls not being returned forcing us to take it to the ombudsman. Avoid at all costs even if it seems like the ideal property its not worth the hassle of dealing with this company.
After booking a viewing on a Saturday morning, I traveled an hour across the city for the viewing only to be let down by some arrogant and careless letting agents.
I call the agents when I was at the place after waiting 10mins to be told the agent is stuck in traffic and will get there and call you. When I called them again after waiting another 15mins, they tell me the agent came, waited and left. How ridiculous !!! On asking why didn't they call, they had no answers and the person the phone kept repeating the same. Absolute careleness and arrogance.
Dealt with Phil's & team as a tenant: got a great flat, good service & everything was worry-free. Can't recommend more.
