Promises to repair items before move in, and then the chasing begins.
2 weeks no functioning boiler for showers during a heatwave with a baby
Broken floorboards
Windows that don’t close all winter
Doors that cannot be shut
Mould.. the list is endless.
They also have no problem randomly letting themselves into the property repair items unauthorised. Tried to make us pay extra rent as they forgot to arrange check out clerk. Their maintenance people are rude and their maintenance leads made, what you could class as racist comments on the phone about their Asian maintenance staff.
Glad to no longer having to keep a log of endless, mostly ignored emails.
I rented for a year with DC (little too much detail here to make this up?). Wish they responded as reliably to repairs as they do to their reviews. ????... Read more
