I can't fault the team at the Charminster branch. They marketed my property very well, taking excellent photographs. They always kept me informed of what was happening and I feel they judged the price of the property exactly right. The property sold within a fortnight and they were also very efficient with all the ensuing paperwork from the solicitors. I thoroughly recommend them.

What a disappointing experience from the lettings team in Ferndown.
We are landlords and wanted to change letting agents away from Goadsby to a more cost effective letting agents, which has halved our management fees. We gave Goadsby the opportunity to move on price, they were committed to maintaining their customer service levels and wanted to keep their margin, fair enough.
The experience they have put us through over the last few months has failed on every level, even basic courtesy and customer service. Chris, the lettings manager has yet to call me back, I have lost count of the messages I left and emails I sent requesting a call. Chris 'made up' monetary amounts he 'felt' we were expected to pay but couldn't back it up contractually. He took too long to return the deposit to us, we very nearly missed the 30 days DPS registration. I have never dealt with such incompetence.
The saddest part is, Goadsby, you have lost this customer for life.
If we need to change agents again, or anyone asks us for a recommendation - then we will be steering well away from Goadsy.

From first meeting Richard he was professional and reacted speedily to my initial contact. It was some months until the property could be put on the market but he kept in regular contact. When the property was eventually put on the market we were given a realistic valuation and the marketing information accurate with excellent photographs. The property had much attention in the first few weeks and a buyer found. During the sale period Richard was in regular contact and reassuring. It is the second time I have asked Goadsby to sell and property and they give excellent service. I can recommend them.
I must say all of the team at the Fordingbridge branch were exceptional, Matt especially! Always on hand to explain a situation with a honest and helpful response, never trying to rush you off the phone and always gave the time of day and regular updates which was greatly appreciated after having a difficult experiences with various other estate agents involved during previous sales and fall throughs. Also the Verwood branch with special mention to Sue who was also extremely helpful and proactive! Always pushing and chasing others to get things done. Overall can’t fault them one single bit! Brilliant!

What can I say, David is delightful and so efficient, with both parties in difficult circumstances he was considerate, efficient and always on the ball. We managed to complete in a month, thanks to his wonderful communication with both parties and the solicitors. Couldn't fault them!
AWFUL from a lettings perspective. Right from the beginning our move in was delayed due to a fault with the boiler needing repair. Understandably no ones fault, until we needed to end the tenancy and they had not recorded any details on their system about the change of move in date. Lived with rusty, leaking radiators for a year and a half which we continuously reported and were not replaced until the week before we were leaving the property. We had the hassle of the repairs only for the benefit of the next tenants. Furthermore, with over 20 years experience of renting a property, I would class the wait for any decison on our deposit as long - have usually had it returned within 10 days. Apparently, Goadsby don't have any time clause written in the lease for a decison on the deposit so the landlord may take as long as they wish to make a decision. We left the property cleaner than we found it (3 full days if cleaning and professionly cleaned carpets) and they wish to deduct £445 for cleaning! They seem very reluctant to chase anything from the landlord - and have even told us that we have been waiting for the landlord to obtain a breakdown of cleaning charges - which one would hope had been obtained prior to requesting deductions from our deposit? Will never rent with Goadsby again.
