Hamptons Bath sold my house last summer. Neal Wood’s valuation was spot on (as it had been in respect of a prior house sale), and he and the team did an amazing job of marketing the property. The first people to view came forward with a serious offer which I was very happy to accept. They - particularly Kim - then held my hand through the entire transaction, which was not easy due to unforeseen issues at the bottom of the chain, in what was a very difficult mortgage market. They were patient, communicative, and overall extremely professional. Thank you Hamptons.

Working with the lettings team at Hamptons is a real pleasure. They are all friendly, efficient and very professional. They are very organised and always communicate with us so if there are any updates or changes we are always informed. We only ever hear good feedback from tenants and landlords about them.

I couldn't be more dissatisfied and disappointed that I chose Hamptons and stayed with them for nearly a year before property was sold. Being a client, the whole process was driven by the buyer and their demands and needs. Being in a chain it was really their call and responsibility to be the bridge for communication between the us and sellers and the buyers. On the day of completion I was hounded by Hamptons for 2 hours as soon as funds for the sale were released, despite everyone in the process involved being fully aware that we were on a CHAIN. It was morally and professionally so wrong. It was really the role where Hamptons needed to liaise and communicate with full clarity and confidence that keys would be released at the end of the completion for the full chain of sale and purchase. being fully ware of my circumstances doing a home move alone with a child, they were they only people who needed to represent my best interest and unfold some humanity and morality from the bottom of the chain to not dictate terms throughout the entire process of sale, but be reasonable. for the heavy agency fees levied by Hamptons, I truly regret that it really wasn't worth it, all in the end. I wish i chose another agent and saved over thousand of pounds in fees. For anyone looking to be in a chain, it is just so important to have agents who are experienced, and confident and always puts you ahead of everything. In the end, its all about commission, and really nothing matters after everyone receives their monies.

We are glad that we chose Hamptons Estate Agents in Alton to sell our property, as from the off they showed that they were professional and prepared to be fully engaged in supporting us through the process. From the initial valuation from Adam, the ultimate professional, to the ongoing chasing and updating by Kathleen, we felt that they could not have done better. Kathleen, in particular, showed great tenacity in dealing with a number of issues, often overcoming the weaknesses of other parties in the chain, due in part to her skill at building relationships. She was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I am happy to recommend the team at Hamptons.

We would have no hesitation but to fully recommend Kraig and his team at Hamptons. They were superb - very friendly, professional and honest throughout. We particularly found the method of keeping in touch via our own WhatsApp group to be effective. Thank you ever so much once again.
