Vicky assisted my husband and I with selling our home and the purchase of a new build; within less than 24 hours of meeting Vicky she had put our house on the market and sold it! This allowed us to go ahead with the purchase of our new house efficiently! Such a professional and friendly service from the whole of the maitlands team but a special thanks to Vicky and Nathan (from MAB) for working together so well to allow us to sell our first ever home to buying our family home without it being a stressful process! Even on moving day (right before Christmas) when help to buy scheme were delaying proceeding, the staff at maitlands all offered to help us move on their first day of Christmas leave-such a lovely gesture! Thank you Maitlands
Amazing service with Maitands. They managed to complete a very difficult sale for us. They were persistent and kept us up to date with progress or lack of it. Without their determination we would never have sold our flat! All staff were helpful but I need to mention Zoe in particular whose communication and professionalism were second to none. They were all willing to go that extra mile. Worth every penny. Thank you guys.
I’m currently in the process of purchasing a new home through Maitlands Fine & Country. To date the professionalism of Helen Moore, Director and the team at the Plympton office has been commensurate with that of what I would expect from a leading estate agent. They have maintained a well balanced relaitionship with all parties involved, facilitating responsive and effective communication.
Maitlands were the estate agents on my recent domestic property purchase. Throughout the process the staff were warm, thoughtful, communicative and helpful. They would be my first choice and my first recommendation in the future.
Yes looking 2 move house Sophie was absolutely amazing took me and Gail thought it step by step well done all xxx
A year ago, I saw The Old Cottage in Saltash advertised for sale for £160,000. I immediately rang to make a viewing appointment and was given one for first thing the next morning. Maitlands then changed this for half an hour later.
I attended the viewing and one of the first things the lady from Maitlands said was that they would not take offers once an offer was accepted. I loved the cottage and then made the long journey home. I had just arrived when I received a call from the agents to say that the people who viewed before me, who had been given my original slot, had made an offer which had been accepted. I said that I had been about to ring with a starting offer, - I would have gone higher-, of £165,000. The lady just said that an offer had already been accepted and I was left very dissappointed.
I have now discovered that agents are legally bound to put forward all offers made on a property. What Maitlands do is totally illegal! I have also now seen that the cottage sold for just £160,000, so, apart from my immense disappointment and wasted long journey, the vendors potentially lost out on thousands of pounds more .
