Decided to sell just as lock down began so Romans’ valued the house then as soon as restrictions on the housing market lifted they contacted me and got the house straight in the market. Lewis and Joe managed to arrange around 10 viewings in the first 2 weeks of being on the market and within 4 weeks had an offer. Romans are a dreadful property manager and always take significantly longer than expected to deal with any issue. It took a year to get new windows for our house, a month for them to refund me for a washing machine that I bought when the one at the property broke (for the 3rd time in 8 months, the previous times each took a week and a half or more for them to get someone in to fix).
Whenever there is an issue they need to be chased or they will not move forward with the issue for several days after it has been reported.
It takes so much more effort to get any issue resolved by dealing with this "managed" property than if you were to deal with the issue yourself. The only problem with that is that they would then take a month to repay you if at all.
We have had constant issues with them with not a single issue being handled in a reasonable amount of time despite the fact that we have a baby and a toddler in the house.
Romans Caversham sold our house quickly for a price we were happy with and then found a property that was exactly what we were after and within our budget. We couldn't ask for more than that. Great service throughout.

Poor experience with Romans who made no real effort to sell my home. After initial advice around asking price, I was pushed weekly to lower the price of my property.
Very little to no feedback provided after viewings. On occasions viewings did not take place, despite vacating my property to allow for them.
When feedback was provided, it was purely price related despite dropping asking price by almost 30% of the value.
In the end, I bought another local agent on board who ended up selling
