Simon Miller & Company Estate Agents have 12 branches and they mainly list properties in TN27, ME19, ME19, TN30, ME16, ME14, TN27 and ME20. Over the last 6 months, they've listed 300 properties, with an average time to sale of 21 weeks.
Only spoke to them on the phone.
I was put off by the lady at SM placing the phone receiver down to quickly without giving me a chance to say goodbye.
It's a trait a lot of estate agents have.
I have never known a solicitor do that and as a lawyer once said to me.....one does it and they all do. Very unprofessional.
Absolutely excellent! I brought a house through the Bearsted office and found the staff to be brilliant. I mainly dealt with Sanyell in sales and Richard the Manager but everyone I dealt with was great. They always returned my calls, were totally straight with me every step of the way and were very patient (it's hard buying a house!). I would not hesitate in recommending Simon Miller and Company to my family and I will definitely use them in the future for any property transactions.
Very rude, no customer service, would not be using again.
For 3 years now they have rented and managed a property for me. The whole process has been excellent and each month the payments and statements always arrive on time. They also complete a 6 monthly check on the property and provide a photographic report. All for an excellent and very competative rate.
I rented one of their properties near to their office. To start with the good,they rented to me with a guarantor when another agent wouldnt. They enabled me to have a roof over my head for a year. They also attended to repairs pretty quick.
When moving in,three guys including the manager had a shouting match with the removals guy i Used. Seemed unprofessional which they realised having appologised shortly after.
Communication was lacking at times, taking ages or not responding to emails. I asked to pay to stay an extra week so they cancelled my check out inventory then only told me when i phoned an hour after its due where they said they cancelled because they thought i was staying longer even though they hadnt even confirmed i could,meaning i made other arrangements. The check in and out was undertaken by different third party companies meaning lots of discrepencies,although this probably disadvantaged them more than me
The communication was even worse when in process of trying to get my deposit back. I finally got my deposit back three months after my tenancy ended. They tried to make fairly big deduction for whole property clean when only disputing cleanliness of one area. They eventually backed down when i argued this. The deposit scheme they Used is also useless at communication. Please bare these points in mind before renting though this branch!
