They lost my contact details for 3 weeks after my house went on the market. Awful communication and service. Removed my instructions from them at the earliest opportunity. Will sell using another agent.
Secured one viewing only, lined nothing else up, didn’t go out of their way to secure viewings, used all the we are fab patter when actually they weren’t and we’re rude at times.
New agent sold our house in 2 weeks! 16 weeks with them and they secured one viewing! Their premium service which we paid for was a waste!
Over priced and over rated agents!
We found Your Move - Houghton-le-Spring to be a very professional and efficient estate agency. From first contact, the valuation, photography, brochure preparation, first viewing and receipt of an offer for full asking price took less than 3 weeks. Sales Manager Rachel Smiles was especially helpful in giving advice on content of the sales brochure and her friendly staff in arranging the 2 viewings by first interested party. We would highly recommend this agency to value and sell your property quickly at its true market value.
Chris was very friendly and polite. He was aware of our needs and the area our house is in-good local knowledge.
Diane was also very helpful helping us seal the deal between parties
We had a third party involved in selling our home via your move so felt communication wasn’t the best until directly dealing with your move, after that point excellent communication
These have got to be the worst estate agents ever! They have no customer skills and rip people off. Never deal with repairs in time and couldn't care less about their tenants. Despite the new tenancy fees ban, I am sure they will find a new way to get money out of people unnecessarily. Several people warned me about how bad they were but I didn't realise how bad until I experienced it myself.
Our house had an accepted offer within less than one week of being on the market, so we were very happy with the agent's marketing and advice on getting the house ready for viewings. Our main selling agent was named Bryan Beeley, and he was very professional, helpful, and prompt. As soon as the offer came in, however, we had more interaction with the rest of the team, who were ok, but not nearly as professional--they had to be reminded on six separate occasions in one week alone which one of us was the primary contact, we often had to call to chase information, and there was one particular woman who never let us finish a sentence. Overall the service was adequate, but without Bryan, I would hesitate to recommend them wholeheartedly.
