I would highly recommend avoiding using Platinum Properties like the plague, especially if you are a tenant!!! If you are unfortunate enough to be with Platinum already, I would advise demanding to be present at the exit inspection. We recently had an issue where the inspection was carried out (without us being notified!) the deposit was released and we were told there were no issues. Then weeks after leaving the property, we were told we needed to replace the carpets in the property (despite paying a pet deposit and them returning the deposit, stating that everything was fine!) and threatening to take legal action against us. This was THEIR error and clearly they were too embarrassed to admit their negligence to the landlord and so pushed it back on us. I also have to say that the owner of the business was one of the most rude people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with and his overall customer service was absolutely shocking! The rest of the team were incompetent and could not provide us with the clause within the contract that we had apparently breached despite us asking several times. Overall this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience!
