5th May 2024 (6 weeks ago)My personal experience with agents from Redwood Estates. Organizational betrayal, powers control and gaslights: The letting agent failed to protect my tenancy deposit from 2010-2015 & 2017- 2023. Catherine, Debbie and Lynn used tenancy agreements to wage war against me for wanting to protect my tenancy rights as a private tenant. Poor management The tenancy deposit certificate ID was received in a repossession claim from the BCFC in September 2023. False information was issued on the certificate. Health and Safety breaches under Human Rights act Trespass to goods- the unauthorised posting of my personal items online during the commercial sale of "the property in 2020 and 2022-2023. The LL and letting agents "ganged up" against via using coercive control, harassment and peer pressure discriminative conduct from May 2022 until November 2023. My tenancy rights to live in comfort at my home without unnecessary interruptions were greatly challenged. Indoor cameras were used to protect and safeguard me from further harm during contact with these individuals. The named letting agents demanded to enter the property during my absence under the disguise of "prospective viewers" from January 2023 to November 2023 . I was gas-lighted in reports regarding "their management" of the property. Retaliatory Eviction & collusion of wrong doing: I stood my ground and was issued illegal eviction notices s.21 (forms 8 and 6a) by LL on 12 May 2023 and 27 June 2023 for challenging the £450.00 rent increase proposal on 9 May 2023. The first eviction s.21 notice form 8 was declared invalid by Housing Inclusion Services on 27 June 2023. The LL issued the second s.21 eviction form 6a. It was illegal and retaliatory. The LL failed to follow the legally prescribed guidelines before issuing a s21 notice (my tenancy deposit was not protected during years as LL (2017-2023)), how to rent booklet May 2023 was not received, inaccurate dates recorded on EPC, faulty repair complaints from 2017-2023 treated dismissively in reports (poor management of property). Fraudulent conducts Catherine P was informed of the LL's decision to issue s.21 notice in May 2022 ( premediated act) as revealed in the SAR disclosure of 10 January 2024 (eighteen months later). Financial abuse & coercive control Monthly rental payments were increased twice by LL and terms of tenancy changed with Redwood Estate's involvement from May 2022 to July 2022. These incidents occurred during vulnerable periods in life ( the unfair automatic dismissal) after 22 years of continuous employment for making protected acts and qualifying disclosures against a former employer. The abuse from the letting agents and LL also paralleled with periods of vicious abuse from agents of the former employer. Debbie T would treat SAR information regarding unlawful interference in my personal life unprofessionally during enquiries raised in January 2024. She reacted by using red and yellow inked letters in email correspondences). Letting agents of Redwood Estates (UK) Ltd fraudulently sign ( electronically) using my details for tenancy agreements in 2016,2017-2019. Subject access requests of 6 December 2023 to Redwood Estates were received on 10 January 2024 (delayed). I was taken advantage of by agents from Redwood Estates whose intent was to subject my life to the reign of terror during my final year of tenancy. I was the private tenant at the property from 29 January 2010 to 27 February 2024. They don't deserve a star.

5th May 2024 (6 weeks ago)Capital Estate Agents Bromley are undoubtedly the best estate agents we've ever worked with. While we were in South Africa, my wife and I had everything sorted—work contracts, visas, finances—everything a landlord could hope for. However, as soon as estate agents heard we were moving from overseas, they would end the call. Out of 30 people we contacted, only Capital Estate Agents Bromley, specifically Ryan, took the time to speak with us. We recently had a second viewing with Derek, which was handled very professionally. They always dress impeccably and speak well-pronounced English, which is quite rare these days.
23rd May 2024 (21 days ago)Mik and his team (including Fran who is super helpful!) are fantastic, highly recommend! After we showed interest in a property that was under offer, I was then contacted a couple of weeks later by email and by phone, immediately after a new property was added that they thought I would be interested in. This turned out to be our dream house, which shows they really understood what we were looking for and ensured we didn’t miss out on a great opportunity. Mik is really personable, professional and works hard to ensure everything goes smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with the service we have received so far! :)

28th May 2024 (16 days ago)Sam was so helpful with our house purchase; it wasn't the easiest, given we were first time buyers at the bottom of a long chain, but she was always available for questions, and always proactive in updating or informing us whenever things had changed. Sam was especially busy as the chain moved to exchange & completion, and had to go above and beyond to communicate & organise with solicitors and vendors along the chain, but she was always open and supportive during this time. Alan De Maid, and Sam in particular, ensured to do all they could in speeding our purchase along, whilst being supportive and informative. I would definitely recommend Sam and her services going forward.

10th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Alex James and Callum were very kind, helpful, patient yet where necessary and appropriate weren't afraid to be direct and plain with me, and in Alex James's words it was to help me and I don't doubt that at all. He provided useful, helpful tips when I was experiencing feelings of being overwhelmed to be calm and collected yet respectful towards our new and upcoming landlord and general other tips for how any tenant is informed of things. I'm not surprised they've got such positive, spectacular reviews. It's a family owned and run estate agency too but overall have felt greatly supported and helped throughout the referencing and anything else they were to do to help our landlord. I have no problem recommending this estate agency, they seem very well knowledged, experienced, helpful, kind, patient yet also very honest. Thank you to Alex James and Callum you've been an honour to correspond with. Anyone who can be as good with me as they have been is worth this recommendation and honest review. Edit: Point of criticism/feedback: They should make it known more clearly than expecting or asking someone to read the Ts and Cs that they're allowed to pass on your details to utility companies as it was rather stressful to discover when I had attempts from companies to set things up and emails telling me they had, the utility companies that is and I prefer to do things myself. And ask if you want them to pass on your details or not. As when I asked about that they said it's possible. 9th Nov 2023 (7 mo. ago)Dealt with Mark Waldron on the sale of our house in Riverhead. I would highly recommend both Mark and Knight Frank. Right from the initial valuation appointment, mark gave really solid advice on how to maximise the marketing of the house to achieve the best price in a reasonable timescale. This was in summer 2023 and a difficult market to sell in. Knight Frank got lots of interest in the house and had multiple offers. This was because we followed Marks pricing advice and they put together some really lovely photos, brochures and adverts. We did have issues with our first buyer, who messed us around. Mark spotted this quickly and he was replaced with another buyer within a week. Mark has supported us through the post sale process, always happy to help speak with buyers, solicitors and other agents. If you are serious about selling in Sevenoaks then I highly recommend you talk to Mark and his team at Knight Frank. Thank you

Jo took time to listen to our needs & "juggled" things around to provide a viewing that suited our availability. Jo was very curtious & attentive when showing us around the property. He called when he said he would call & we felt we could "trust" him. Nothing seemed to be any bother for him - It was a pleasurable experience (even though we declined from buying that particular property, Jo was still very polite & encouraging).

Josh demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the housing market and how best to advertise our house and Aran, who was responsible for the viewings, worked hard to showcase the best parts of our property. He came round the day before the viewings began and spent at least half an hour talking to us about the house and everything he might need to know about it. He was also very good with the cat who liked to follow any viewers around the house! The team worked hard to organise viewings in groups so that we didn’t have to prep the house every day for a one off viewing. I also really liked the photographs they took of the house: nothing was stretched or distorted to look bigger than it was so prospective buyers knew what to expect when they walked through the door. Once the house sold, Michelle helped us with the next steps in the paperwork and also acted as a liaison between us and our buyer. I’ve recommended this company already to a friend and would wholeheartedly recommend them again. The entire team, although small, deliver a really bespoke and personal service which distinguishes them from any big chain.

They are always in touch and it feels like they are genuinely working with you and WANT to help you sell your property. We moved from another agent and have definitely found Bear's experience more suited to our expectations. We have had excellent customer service from Jacob and Tia from the Hockley branch and have had lots of viewers through door so, fingers crossed, we will have a sale any day now ????????
