8th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Shocking. Couldn't get hold of Ricardo, booked in a viewing with a colleague. Attended viewing, no information known to agent about the property, was told would be contacted by Ricardo to discuss - never heard from anyone.
6th Apr 2024 (10 weeks ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things

They were very professional, efficient and slick which helped the transaction complete on time. 12th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Murray & Currie are atrocious - we had rented with them for 4 years, having lived in two flats. In both, they had ignored us when we made them aware of plumbing issues (at one point disregarding months of constant follow-ups), which culminated in damage to our downstairs neighbours flats. Once again, in both instances, the neighbours had to contact our landlord themselves as the letting agents could not be bothered to do their job. Altogether, the caused thousands of pounds worth of damages and stress for everyone involved, including both us as the tenants and the landlords. This is the tip of the iceberg - I had paid rent in advance of my own volition at one flat, and they illegally kept it for months after I asked for it back (as I was moving). They also tried to charge us the full cost of a professional clean at move-out, despite the fact that we had paid for a professional cleaning using their own cleaning company upon the end of the tenancy. Honestly, there are no words. Truly I have never seen this level of incompetence. One flat managed by Murray and Currie and the entire neighbourhood ends up with a multi-year-long headache. You'd have better luck getting your property managed by a chimp.
2nd Jun 2024 (11 days ago)My partner and I feel very lucky to have found Scott and his legal support team at Connor Malcolm. This was our first time going through the process of purchasing a property and they could not have been more helpful. Scott effectively held our hand throughout the whole process, took time to explain the jargon and was very fast to respond to any queries. An additional note: *the quote was the quote* ... no additional fees or hidden costs. I have no doubt that I will be asking for Scott the next time we go through this process.

23rd May 2024 (21 days ago)They were great when Safah was our property manager. After that it took months for repairs, endless calling and emailing to get a response - and that’s even if you got one. They’d say “they’re really busy” but emails take a minute or two to write. Extremely frustrating company and couldn’t care less about the tenants. Money hungry company. Don’t trust em!

3rd Nov 2023 (7 mo. ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.
4th Mar 2024 (14 weeks ago)Amazing!! second time I have used Stuart and Clyde to sell a property and again was seamless, efficient, always kept you in the loop and had my property on the market, listed and sold within 3 weeks start to finish. Hazel and Iona were so great and were all over it, really make you feel like you are the only client they have. Would absolutely recommend!

He kept me informed at all times was very pleasant. I couldn't thank Watermans enough for a great service.

The brochure they produced was fantastic and the whole process was managed for us, which took all the stress of selling away. Greig was great at keeping us up to date with viewings and overall we had a great experience. I would recommend and will be using again in the future. Thankyou
