8th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Shocking. Couldn't get hold of Ricardo, booked in a viewing with a colleague. Attended viewing, no information known to agent about the property, was told would be contacted by Ricardo to discuss - never heard from anyone.
14th Mar 2024 (13 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

2nd Jun 2024 (11 days ago)I have rented a house via Countrywide/ Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Countrywide have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted them to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we'd always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Countrywide/ Slater Hogg & Howison to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and they are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Countrywide because they are extremely cruel.
21st May 2024 (23 days ago)Viewing a property the person showing us round, didn’t really do anything apart from open the door. Didn’t have any info on basic things, but was nice enough. Staff at the office were nice but a bit of a lag getting details.
2nd May 2024 (6 weeks ago)Can’t recommend Harbour enough, sold our house within 3 days of it going live. Jason talked us through everything start to finish, was always on the other end of a phone. Very professional,knowledgeable and honest.
13th Oct 2017 (6 years ago)Our flat was on the market for 9 months, our experience was up and down with selling with castlehead. I feel like we could have been listened more, issues would have been resovled sooner. Job done in end, house sold in the end????

3rd Dec 2022 (1 year ago)So far so good if sale concludes on 21/12. Agent was very helpful with suggestions to improve the flat and very realistic about sale price. They also dealt with viewings and arranged a quick closing date Don’t have final bill yet but we were provided with a breakdown of costs
6th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)I used Walker Wylie estate agents to sell my property. They were professional, honest and reliable. They always responded to any questions promptly and clearly have a wealth of knowledge about the property market. They really are a delightful firm of estate agents to deal with. I would highly recommend Walker Wylie and I will use them again. Thank you Barry for the excellent service you provided.

13th Nov 2023 (7 mo. ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.

The marketing was excellent and they managed our viewings so well. With their help we received an above home report offer and had a smooth and well guided move! I can not thank, nor recommend them enough!
