9th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Frost went over and beyond to help me with the sale of my property. They kept me informed throughout and gave me honest advice even about my onwards purchase. In particular Chloe and Andy were amazing and dedicated to good service. Professional yet relatable and friendly and easy to communicate with via phone and text which made my life easier. I would definitely use Frost again.
11th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Just completed this sale of my father-in-law's house. We were keen to use an agent with local knowledge and I'm very pleased we chose Alan Cooke Sales and Lettings. We received excellent advice on how to aproach the sale and the marketing was exceptional. As a result, we received a large number of offers very quickly. We then received detailed advice on the benefits and risks of each offer and the associated chain. We chose an offer that was most likely to complete and the whole process of marketing and conveyancing was wrapped up in just over three months. Very happy with the sale price and the agents fees. I'd reccomend Jonny and Elissia to anyone looking to sell in North Leeds.

Charlie was absolutely brilliant in securing us a great mortgage rate and also helped us to negotiate a fair price for the property; I would not go anywhere else in the future for mortgage advice.

31st May 2024 (14 days ago)This is the worst agency known to man. As a tenant they do nothing, only contact you to tell you you’re not paying enough money. They come and inspect the house and when they see repairs they write it down and nothing happens. 6 months still waiting for them to fix my door, have had to start messaging the landlord directly. Cos the house manager is so useless we don’t even use the group chat she’s in cos she doesn’t do anything.

Nev was great all the way through. The listing and viewings: - The public rightmove listing was brilliant, it gave much more information and was written in a way that showed genuine care for the sale. There were more photos than I generally saw and they really captured the beauty of the property. I initially had a couple of questions which were answered quickly but as I was unable to make the open day Nev contacted me separately to send across a 5 minute video walkthrough of the property along with an information pack. The information pack itself gave a great level of detail, from predicted boundaries, local information, additional photos etc. - We did two viewings at the house, the first with Nev and the second with the vendors. No question seemed an inconvenience and it was nice that I could meet the vendors and them me, so we knew who we were working with, buying and selling a house is a big thing to do and takes an awful lot of trust between the two. Offer: - I initially made an interim offer whilst I waited for an offer on my sale, Nev kindly let me know that until I had a buyer the house would stay on the market. Thankfully it sold quickly and the offer was accepted. I decided to offer asking price for the property, despite knowing a lower offer had been accepted in the previous months. For me, the house was valued correctly given the work the vendors had put in and the unique location. I didn't feel that any negotiation was needed (although I did ask if I could keep the curtains and blinds...). Nev acted as a go between through the process and always came back to me very quickly. Conveyancing: Throughout the conveyancing process Nev was always available and answered questions quickly. Toward week 8 I made the request that we pulled back the exchange and completion date so I could move during the school holidays, given my son was in the middle of his GCSE's. Nev helped coordinate this with the vendors and we had a very nervous but smooth simultaneous exchange and completion on the same day. Nev met me at the property on the day to hand over the keys. Overall it was a great experience as a buyer through Ewemove, and particularly with Nev, you can tell that he genuinely cares about your home. If you are considering selling or buying, you couldn't get any better. Thanks again for the great work!EweMove Sales & Lettings - Horsforth & Adel

Overall, I cannot recommend their services due to their lack of professionalism and poor customer care. Unprofessional behaviour, speak nice only when entering the property and when leaving show their real behaviour. Fowler and Powell is a big red flag. Future tenants especially if coming from abroad please avoid them in LEEDS. Google and people : have added a screenshot of me signing contract with Fowler and Powell. They are reporting the honest truth as fake review . Kindly take action against the good reviews Fowler and Powell is getting as these are definitely fake. Also posted this on international doctors group on Facebook and Instagram about the FOWLER AND POWELL services as Tenancy agent!!

18th May 2024 (27 days ago)The professionalism and care demonstrated by Monroe Estate agents was almost unbelievable! The sale of our property was extremely difficult and protracted however Monroe’s professionalism never wavered once. Every single member of staff at our office (Boston Spa) were outstanding! Please do not even consider another agent ( we moved from another local agent to Monroe) the other agent failed where Monroe succeeded. Well done. Special thanks have to go to the MD Leanna.
