Jake was very professional, skilled and answered fully so well to all questions I asked. He also communicated brilliatly with me by sharing full details of helpful information in different formats. 18th Apr 2024 (8 weeks ago)It was the worst experience I have ever had with this company. I’m shocked!! They told me to send them my lease the landlord is interested in your business. I have provided all the requirements perfectly. Suddenly they called me and told me the landlord has chosen another tenant in private apart from the company and has decided to give it to another tenant. I have paid for expenses in lease preparations everything was perfect! I think it is the agents fault !!! But when a property, unit owner r a shop is given to a company only this company can do the renting or selling process… this is a big lie and it’s really a shame for this company..
13th May 2024 (4 weeks ago)System always frozen when you call them, “will call you in a few minutes” = never call you, booked appointment will be delayed again and again but no one will arrange any new appointments, emails will be ignored, please avoid tenants and landlords, waste your money and time

Simon was exceptionally kind to my parents when they viewed the property, and I'm grateful to everyone in the office for keeping things on track.

1st Mar 2024 (15 weeks ago)Wow it’s good to know that I was removed from the system then, even better service. We were with homehub for 6 months in 2022. March- August. I have all communications with them which I am more than happy to share with you. I escalated my issue and was told it was sent to an ombudsman and never heard anything since. Also not sure why my review did not show up but I will post it again. Please stay away from Homehub if you are new to the country. They will charge you an inflated price and then drop the price of rent a few days after you sign the contract. The manager John is completely unhelpful and is unfit to be a manager and he is also the director so there’s a definite problem if you ever try complaining he will never budge on his own opinions. Apartment was very old and was uninhabited for many years. The state in which we received the apartment was dreadful as we had to clean every inch of the place. From food stains on the carpet to tobacco and cigarette butts in between the couch. A disgraceful agency. I repeat PLEASE DONT DO ANY DEALING WITH HOMEHUB If John is involved.
19th Apr 2024 (8 weeks ago)Where do we start? Jackson Bailey were 10/10 when selling our home. During what was an incredibly protracted process, which took six months from start to finish; Ben and the team kept in continual contact and chased where needed to ensure that the relevant progress was made. Having sold with JB, but purchased through a useless purple online agent (whose own ‘sales progression’ service was dreadful, talk about ‘commisery!’); Ben had to step-in and liaise on both our sale and purchase; doing the job of our seller’s agent at times too! Communication was clear, constant and effective, and we found the WhatsApp group an excellent way of getting updates outside of normal working hours. A refreshing change from having to leave constant voicemails to other agents in the chain. Overall, a justifiably FIVE STAR service from Jackson Bailey. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell in the local area and cannot thank them enough for their efforts.

18th Mar 2024 (12 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
8th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Do not recommend this letting agency. We’ve been mocked around living in mouldy flat with rats and agency wouldn’t take me seriously or come to sort this out. At the end of my tenancy I was accused of leaving „pubic hair” when in fact my ex partner was African so some curly hair were missed while cleaning! Phil was always a nightmare and unprofessional … even though it’s been 5 years I am yet to receive an apology for this racist comment and accusation, plus I’ve never actually received any deposit money back from the company. Been accused of many untruthful things, and treated really badly.
30th May 2024 (14 days ago)Let me down twice just to view a property. First of all the customer service was rude from Chelsea. Kept talking about financial appointments?! Second of all, booked viewing twice on a property and was let down by Edward. Then a guy called Jake called didn’t apologise and tried to say view another property… No urgency, Poor agent. Very poor service overall. Don’t recommend to buy or sell with this agent. Go somewhere else.

5th Jun 2024 (8 days ago)I have been working with Phil at Charters to sell our property and I couldn't be happier with the level of service provided. Charters are a professional estate agents, they have always answered the phone when I call and the person who answers has always managed to update me on my case with ease. The process so far has been really smooth and really happy with the advertising that Charters provided. Phil in particular has been a brilliant asset, he has kept us in the loop and we feel very safe knowing he is on the case - Thank you very much!
28th May 2024 (16 days ago)LANDLORDS : I my opinion under no circumstances use Leaders to manage your property. Their process are opaque and one sided. Nobody in the business seems to be empowered to make a decision. Save many hours of pain and use another property management company in Southampton.
