29th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)Hamilton Chase was one of three estate agents we approached to sell a two-bedroom, two-bathroom garden flat in New Barnet. Of the three, Hamilton Chase stood out as being both realistic (to the vagaries of the housing market), yet acutely aware of the outstanding unique selling points of the large, private terrace and very quiet neighbourhood. Kevin Peters looked after us very well. Proactive, courteous and always professional, he responded quickly to our initial contact - and continued to manage the sale process through all stages with expertise and patience gained over many years in the business. We were unable to always be on hand during the sale process, and Kevin was especially helpful in 'minding' the property in our absence to make sure everything remained ship-shape and looking its best. Although 'above and beyond' is a cliche - and, in this case, an understatement - it nonetheless sums up Kevin's commitment to our sale, and we have no hesitation in recommending him and Hamilton Chase to anyone who is searching for a top-quality estate agent. We knew Andy as reliable, professional and someone who doesn’t let the ball drop and he didn’t disappoint. If it hadn’t been for Andy’s diligence, determination and attention to detail, our chain may have fallen apart a number of times. Thank you Andy for the fantastic and professional service!

13th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)does absolutely nothing for the landlord. tenants caused damages to property and I have to give proof which no pictures were taken upon let. was not advised to do so and basically everything is sunny days when u first approach them and plenty of assurances. does nothing at the end of the agreement and tenants refuse to leave to add to frustration. call them up hardly answers the phone or on leave all the time. besides from taking a considerable ammount of fees from you along with hidden charges ( beware ) they do nothing.

From the outset, Nicky and her team were professional, approachable and responsive. After an initial market appraisal, we had several positive viewings which culminated in us achieving a sale price in excess of the valuation. Special thanks to Debbie and, in particular, Mark who ably managed buyer through the sales process. We have no hesitation in recommending them for your North London property needs.

21st Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)I just rented an apartment in Golders Green through Peppiatt. Nick Kyriacou was my lettings agent. He was super professional in arranging the viewing, providing information about the property and life in the area as well. Nick went above and beyond to ensure that i got the best deal whilst also considering the landlord’s interest as well and creating a win-win scenario for both parties. Throughout the process, he was always available and easy to reach and made me feel truly comfortable. I was under pressure to find a new flat and i also didnt want to negotiate on my must-haves, i believe Nick was instrumental in helping with this and i’m truly grateful. Great thing they will also be managing the property so i am hopeful to seeing same level of service with the property management team as well. Nick has set the bar really high! Thank you CHP!!

If I could give six stars I would. Andy and the whole team are professional, efficient and brilliant, highly recommend them if you’re looking to rent or buy. I have even recommended my friend who is also renting through them and is an extremely happy tenant.

The property is always kept clean and tidy, and they handle all maintenance and repairs efficiently, providing clear quotes before carrying out any work. The garden and communal areas are well-maintained, and they ensure the property is compliant with all council regulations. Rent is always collected on time, and the entire team at Empire Homes has been nothing but polite and respectful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their property management services!- 15th Oct 2024 (17 days ago)I have to say that dealing with Martyn Gerrard (Barnet) was a pleasant surprise based upon my previous experience of dealing with Estate agents. Martyn Gerrard are a very professional firm. Bruvis and Jamie were excellent in keeping me updated throughout the whole process. Jamie dealt with all the viewings for me and kept me advised of upcoming viewing and provided early feedback. Once the property went under offer Bruvis took over. He has communicated with me regularly and kept me up to date. All my interactions with the team at Martyn Gerrard were positive. They are a very friendly team and very respectful of their clients. It's been a pleasure selling my property through Martyn Gerrard and I don't hesitate to recommend them.

20th Feb 2024 (8 mo. ago)Excellent lettings, horrible tenancy management. I rented my apartment in 2020 through 'Reliable Homes' which was later acquired by 'Drivers & Norris'. After this acquisition, getting a reply from the agency on any non-emergency issue became a test of patience, though to their credit they would 'eventually' get the issue resolved. Few times this became extremely stressful, for example when it took me 6 months and several emails, including notices of formal complaint to the The Property Ombudsman, to get my tenancy deposit back after vacating the apartment in a perfectly fine condition.
