4th May 2024 (16 days ago)Just bought a house through Foxes with Ben. Havent always had positive experiences with estate agencies, but can honestly say this was so different. Easiest ever purchase. Ben was so helpful and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. Jo kept us regularly updated on every step of our sale progress, we got the house we wanted at a good price, just got keys and so so happy. A very nice personal touch with the little welcome box, its those personal touches and that customer service that makes such a difference to a buyers experience. Would absolutely recommend, thank you Ben and all the Foxes team for such a smooth purchase experience. 10/10.
9th Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)4 months of waiting and still no call back to offer me a premesis. I've taken it upon myself to contact Landlords directly now if I see anything advertised by Goadsby. This is because Landlords of the sites that I've enquired about previously have not received offers or proposed plans passed on to then, yet I'm told they are not interested. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand why. Based on this, I would not recommend Goadsby Commercial to anyone if you want a hassle free, simple business transaction.

6th May 2024 (14 days ago)Poor experience! I had viewed a house which I was very interested in, unfortunately the estate agent wasn’t knowledgeable on the property and didn’t attempt to show us around. Myself and my partner were still keen on the property itself and put an offer in, we were then told there were a few others interested and to provide “best and final”. After providing a new offer, estate agents explained they would ring tomorrow if our offer was accepted. However we had to visit the estate agents to photocopy our IDs (a step which I knew could have been done over email) but pushed us and said our offer would be void if we didn’t attend. When we arrived at the estate agents, we were told to sit down with a mortgage advisor who asked us our deposit amounts, salary etc to try and sell mortgage products. He then followed up by asking us to email him our IDs- which could have been done without visiting the estate agents. The whole process was poor, and all they wanted was sales and to get us to buy “extras”. An hour after leaving the office, the estate agents told us we didn’t get the property as the other buyers ‘made more of an impression on the seller’. Very unprofessional and wasted our time for sales. I have been put off viewing houses listed with this estate agents.

15th May 2024 (5 days ago)After sending my feedback directly to Palmer Snell over a week ago and as expected not receiving a response, i will now post here. My partner and I decided to both sell our flats to hopefully buy somewhere together. As two first time sellers, we have had an awful experience with Palmer Snell. Please see the reasons below we decided to take both properties off the market with Palmer Snell and list with a different agent. - From the first viewing onwards, we have had loo to constantly chase for feedback for days and days after the viewings. This was frustrating from the get-go, especially with the difficulty of getting through to the office. On some days, I called hourly to try and actually get through to someone. I dread to think how difficult it would be to try and arrange a viewing. -On multiple occasions, it would take weeks to get a response to texts or emails despite multiple follow-up emails and voicemails. This started once we had signed a contract; before signing the contracts, we would get responses within hours, which never quite sat right with us. - At one point, a potential buyer asked questions regarding the lease, which I provided the same day to Palmer Snell. When I called to ask about this potential buyer a week later, I was told the agent had been too busy to read the lease and asked if I could do it instead. At this point, the buyer was no longer interested. No apology for the lack of communication or incompetency was provided. It was a 'why don't you do yourself' approach. If we wanted to sell the properties ourselves, we wouldn't have hired an agent. -When we had valuations for both of our properties, we were told photographers would be attending. This was never arranged for my property despite chasing this up multiple times. Photos were taken on an iPhone, which would not have been a problem if we were not told differently prior to signing a contract. -We were also told our listing would be premium listings - it took multiple emails and calls to actually get this to happen which we found really unprofessional. -Throughout, there has just been an overall lack of contact - every update from pre and post-sale we have needed to chase for ourselves. There was no initiative to help the sale through or to provide any form of reassurance. As first-time sellers, this is something we really struggled with, and the whole process has lacked any form of personal touch or consideration and ultimately just been made as stressful as possible. We now have a complete lack of confidence that Palmer Snell has been doing everything possible to help with the sale. To be entirely honest, I would have resented making payment if the sale were to have continued, as it would be for a service that has only ever involved opening the front door around five times, nothing more. We both had a really good impression after meeting Michael and Connor at the valuations and are really shocked at how we have been treated. The silver-lining of our flats being marketed elsewhere is that we will not have to make payment to Palmer Snell but to an agent who is willing to do the work. On a side note, since listing the properties elsewhere within only a matter of weeks ago we now have an offer at full asking price, our experience with the new agent could not have been more different.

Jessica showed us around that property but also put forward options of other properties. One of which we are now proud owners and have at last found a place perfect for us . Throughout the process Jessica was with us and worked with the various parties to get through negotiations and the normal property , search related queries. I have to say a massive thank you to Jessica and we will certainly be recommending Jessica and the sand banks tailor made branch .. who knows we may be back for more properties.

They have an office in Westbourne where my properry is located and provided good advice on the sales price I could achieve. In a difficult market the property was finally sold after 10 months on the market. May's remained professional throughout and did all they could to promote the property

Zak understood my situation and efficiently and effectively marketed my property. I agreed a sale within a few days at market value meaning I could go ahead with the property I had seen. Throughout Zak has been professional, kept me up to date at every stage and is a true gentleman. He made the process so simple and has been instrumental in dealing with issues within the chain. I highly recommend Zak and Fahren to anyone looking to move. Thank you for everything you have done.

Fahrens, especially Zak who we sold our property with were absolutely fantastic. We sold our flat and bought a house at the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021 with a newborn baby, such a stressful time but made less so by Zak. He was always there to answer questions, emails etc and was a great support. All the team at Fahrens are so lovely and never make you feel rushed when calling. They even helped us out when there was a leak in the flat above ours whilst we were on holiday by going to the flat on a Sunday to investigate. I can’t thank Fahrens and Zak enough for everything they did for us at that time. They sent our newborn a lovely card and present when she was born too. Estate agents that go above and beyond!
