I have been letting my flat with Hamptons for the last couple of years and have had the pleasure of working with Melanie Hudson (property management), Joanne Smith (advertising), and Yoanna Allen (viewings).
On both occasions Joanne provided spot on valuations and advertised appropriate material that garnered extensive interest leading to let being agreed within the first week of advertising.
Yoanna handled the viewings and provided pertinent feedback that helped us choose the tenants which were right for the property.
Melanie has managed the property throughout and has dealt with day-to-day issues/repair job. We have had young tenants, probably living independently for the first time, therefore needing extra assistance. Melanie has a clear communication style which helped resolve issues seamlessly. There are always ongoing malfunctions/breakages and repairs are organised in a timely manner.
Perhaps one downside of Hamptons is their out-of-hours service which offers comparatively poor value for money and letting- and management-fees are at a premium.... Read more

Hamptons Bath sold my house last summer. Neal Wood’s valuation was spot on (as it had been in respect of a prior house sale), and he and the team did an amazing job of marketing the property. The first people to view came forward with a serious offer which I was very happy to accept. They - particularly Kim - then held my hand through the entire transaction, which was not easy due to unforeseen issues at the bottom of the chain, in what was a very difficult mortgage market. Hamptons was an amazing agent. I worked with Rio Oakley and he was communicative and kind and efficient which is rare in the current rental market. I have been a tenant with Savills for 3 years who have been the worst company to deal with, slow and inefficient and no point of contact so dealing with Hamptons was so refreshing. I can't say thanks enough to Melanie Hudson, who made her magic turn around the installation of a new hob when our old hob decided to quit working just a week before Xmas.
