27th Mar 2024 (24 days ago)I must say I was very impressed with Sam Daniels at KF Bath. From the beginning to exchange of contracts he was proactive and tenacious to overcome bureaucratic obstacles. He kept me fully informed throughout the process and took ownership of the transaction with the solicitors. During the initial marketing phase he generated great momentum which culminated in a competitive bid process just a few weeks after engaging KF's services. In the end we transacted comfortably higher than the guide price. Great Job!

I had been looking for my perfect property for over a year. I had dealt with many estate agents in that time and I found that Caroline made me feel at ease and had helped me from start to finish. She was professional and re-assuring. Jackie answered all my texts and emails with professional curtesy and made me feel comfortable in dealing with all the paperwork. If I was unable to get the answers I needed (as in timescales etc) then both Jackie and Caroline became my first point of call. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I am grateful to both of them in helping me find my house, putting a reasonable offer in and finding some good solicitors. The bottle of Bubbly and lovely card was a very personal touch that was appreciated.

I had a spurious query relating to a special kind of front door key which needed additional verification from the former letting agent in order to have a copy made. With no benefit to herself whatsoever, Cathy rang me back, dug around for documents online and enabled me to solve the problem very quickly. She was brilliant. I hope the boss gives her a pay rise soon!
5th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)I first met the team at Cobb Farr in November last year. This was the result of me helping a family friend to purchase a property at The Moorings in Bath. Philip Cobb was my first contact, followed by Vivienne Hayes, one of Cobb Farr's directors. I was initially struck by the friendliness, honesty and supportive approach that Vivienne provided. As time passed, it became clear that Vivienne was both tenacious and patient with both the seller and purchaser. She did an outstanding job while working on behalf of both. My friend's purchase was finally exchanged yesterday and I would thoroughly recommend Vivienne and Cobb Farr if you're buying or selling a property.

Neal Wood’s valuation was spot on (as it had been in respect of a prior house sale), and he and the team did an amazing job of marketing the property. The first people to view came forward with a serious offer which I was very happy to accept. They - particularly Kim - then held my hand through the entire transaction, which was not easy due to unforeseen issues at the bottom of the chain, in what was a very difficult mortgage market. They were patient, communicative, and overall extremely professional. Thank you Hamptons.- 17th Apr 2024 (3 days ago)Wonderful experience with Carrianne in the Frome branch. This stress all went out the window with the help of senior negotiator agent Kate Armstrong. She has been so kind and helpful, so understanding with my group of people needing a little extra time to organise our applications. Thank you so much Kate, you have no idea how much you've influenced my stress levels and bought them down. To put it simply: I am very happy with the services.

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
15th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Tenants and landlords look no further. You will not find greater professionalism, swift communication, industry experience and teamwork anywhere in Bath. Nicola Wilkes (Lettings) and Sharon Clesham (Sales) run a very slick operation and whatever your needs (a new home to rent or letting a new or existing rental property) they will guide you through the process to complete satisfaction. I say this having been a landlord with them for many years and recently been introduced (by Nicola) to another investment opportunity. I am nothing short of amazed by the sleek communication between Sales and Lettings and myself (these ladies know more about property than anyone you’ll meet in Bath and they and their teams are a real pleasure to work with). What I want out of rental property is a great investment but ONLY if my tenants are happy. I need them well looked after and at the top of my agent’s priority list. With the Apartment Company tenants are the priority. And yet this outstanding company deliver more financially to me than any other agent we’ve used in Bath. If you don’t make money, they don’t make money so its a win-win. If you are a first-time landlord and considering a move to renting in Bath (but not sure the best way to go about this), talk to Nicola and Sharon. You won’t regret it. If I was buying a new home for myself, Sharon is the first person I’d call. One final thing…..I noticed a comment that they didn’t always call back if you made an enquiry. Well, if you are Bath’s premier property agency and everyone wants to talk to you, well, yes, you may have to wait a day or so for a reply to a speculative call. No-one wants a company whose sitting about waiting for the phone to ring, do they?! You want an agent whose out there keeping it together for people like me, like my tenants (at the height of a pandemic with vastly reduced staff). Always an impeccable service that goes beyond your expectations. Thank you Sharon and Nicola and everyone at The Apartment Company.
