From valuation, through obtaining a great price, to managing the sale and beyond, we remained very glad that we'd chosen to use Knight Frank and can't speak too highly of them.
I have recently purchased a house 12 miles south of Bath through Knight Frank's Bath office. The viewings were arranged at short notice because we were coming a long way and the viewing staff could not have been more accommodating and were very well briefed. We had difficulties with our purchaser and Knight Frank were very helpful in keeping our vendor informed and on side. The brochure about the house we have bought was beautifully produced. Knight Frank acted most definitely in their client's interests but were very supportive of us as well.
Dealt with Matthew Crayman exclusively when trying to rent a property in Bath. He was extremely proactive and worked beyond standard working hours to ensure that we received the best customer service. He actively sourced properties for us and kept us informed of properties that actually corresponded with what we were wanting from a property. The letting process was as fast and easy as possible with the agency showing great flexibility. Although the reactivity in respect to action required in the flat during the first weeks of tenancy was not entirely in line with our expectations, everything went back to normal and even high standard as soon as Denise joined the team and tackled the issues. She was of great help until the end of tenancy which she made smooth and easy beyond expectations. Definitely a friendly and efficient 5* lettings manager.
We chose Madison Oakley to sell our property as we were impressed with Carey's thorough approach to valuing the property and his knowledge of the local property market (Oldfield Park). He also gave us one of the highest valuations which normally should set alarm bells ringing but in this case his instincts were sound and we sold on the first day of viewings for full asking price.
Aside from this obvious plus, we found Carey and Will to be extremely helpful, friendly and easy to deal with throughout which made the whole process far less stressful than it might have been! If you are thinking of selling in Oldfield Park I would definitely recommend Madison Oakley.
Cannot recommend at all. Asked them out to value my property as I had seen so many of their signs in Bath, but wish I hadn't bothered. From the moment he arrived, he couldn't stop pointing out negative things about the place, not once did he mention anything positive. He then sat down and gave me a 30-minute spiel about how "differently" he works to all of the other agents, which was a load of rubbish. I ended up selling my place with another agent for 15% more than Madison Oakley recommended, to the first person who viewed it! Madison Oakley were offensive, arrogant and I would not recommend them at all.

Awful letting management. One of their managed properties leaked into my flat causing damage. They did not contact me at all about the issue and wouldn't give any assistance to understand fixes and timelines. Absolutely terrible service and contempt for those affected by their managed properties. Lettings manager in particular promised several calls back but never bothered.
