18th Apr 2024 (8 weeks ago)One of the worst companies - a young lady came to present viewing of the flat, what she did was only to open the doors. That's it. She didn't know anything about the flat. She even didn't know information from the advert, was not polite and was defensive on any question. Even if you put application form for the flat, the agency does not send you any confirmation, a few weeks without any feedback from the company - very poor quality
14th May 2024 (30 days ago)Contacted within 24 hours of an enquiry about a property for sale even though it had just gone under offer, I was given a video tour to see if I wanted to make an offer too. Great friendly service and advice from Esther so far impressed in comparison with some other estate agents. Who are apparently “good” in Manchester. This company is excellent ????.
30th May 2024 (14 days ago)I recently had a viewing with daisy. she was absolutely amazing and personable and very very helpful kind and friendly. I am genuinely more inclined to get the property because of her service and highly inclined to work with reeds rain from how amazing the support was. she offered a wide range of options for support as well! would have left a money tip had that been appropriate. deserves a raise.
24th Mar 2024 (12 weeks ago)I called on Friday to enquire about a viewing and the woman I spoke to couldn’t have been more rude. It was obvious that on that day the last thing she wanted to do was work. All she did was give me snappy responses and when she finally did mention I could go and see the house at 11:30am on Saturday, she then snapped again saying ‘well you need to complete the form I’ll send you really quick otherwise someone else will take your spot’ and then she proceeded to say that it will be a block viewing so I asked if it’s possible to perhaps arrange a private viewing as I wasn’t particularly keen on a block viewing and she hang up on me straight away?? If this is how your agents behave and speak to customers then I really wonder how you manage to sell or let anything. Wouldn’t recommend and I’d avoid any future property listings if I will see your name on it.

I think they are the best around here. I wouldn’t be able to find my property without Jessica’s help and support. Thank you very much.
3rd Jun 2024 (10 days ago)We bought a house marketed with Jennie Platt. For the first few months everything was fine, but as the sale dragged on for 7 months understandably we were getting worried, had moved out of our old house and wanted to know what was going on. Jennie all of a sudden kept shielding my calls and emails and when my husband finally got through she said I was ‘harassing her’ and she ‘dreaded’ logging on to see if I’d emailed. My emails were along the lines of “any news?” So I thought harassing was ridiculously over the top until I read the 1 star reviews on here saying the same! She also told my husband I shouldn’t explain why my living situation with family was tough as I was trying to manipulate the situation. All of that aside, we asked for the house to be cleaned before buying and not only was this email ignored but the house was left in the worst state I’ve ever seen. We had a cleaner in for 5 hours and they could not believe how disgusting it was. Poor service in the end all round.

Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always on the end of the phone if we had any questions, even after we completed. Can’t recommend him enough. Thank you Guy we really appreciate all your help.
11th Jun 2024 (2 days ago)We approached Jordan Fishwick in Manchester office, but despite providing the proof of funds they have refused our bank documents as valid evidence and didn’t want to arrange any viewings. This is the first time in over 20 years in investing in properties when the estate agent doesn’t care about the buyers, so we will just take our money elsewhere.

(81 reviews)11th Apr 2024 (9 weeks ago)I used Pennine Kennedy for a new build conveyance last year and my experience was absolutely awful. They made a significant mistake in their memorandum of advice. Their negligence on the matter has caused me to lose almost £70k. I found that they are unresponsive when you need legal counsel the most, perhaps because of high staff turnover and because they take on too many matters. What is even more disrespectful and a wonton breach of their duty of care to clients is that I raise a complaint in January and still have not received a response. They keep stalling me. I am now taking it up with SRA, Legal Ombudsman, and lawyers. If I were doing it again, I would use a conveyancer that comes recommended by an impartial party (not real estate agents that refer work to them) and has the capacity to handle the conveyance with the care it deserves.
24th May 2024 (20 days ago)We found C&R Properties Hulme a very professional and efficient agency to deal with. We had full confidence in Gurmet after our meeting to launch the sale of our flat. Everything was handled with care and attention to detail, resulting in a very well presented video and quality photos going on line. Communication regarding viewings and feedback was regularly shared with us through emails and phone calls which led to our flat going under offer in a fairly short time and finally seeing the sale completed. We would highly recommend anyone from Ireland reading this who is considering buying/selling or renting in Manchester to give Gurmet a call to get the ball rolling. Marie & Vincent Coffey Dublin

17th May 2024 (27 days ago)Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been renting for almost 5 years in the UK and nothing has been this bad. The property was not ready for anyone to live in it - I was without hot hotter for three weeks in winter, there were fleas in the flat, heaters didn’t work. The agency didn’t do anything to help and always took way to long for basic things. Wouldn’t recommend.
14th May 2024 (30 days ago)We rented via them and they found us a nice full furnished flat in the heart of rusholme with great connectivity with a very reasonable price. Process was quick and fuss free. At the end of tenancy, we got our deposit back as well. Big thanks to Usman Bhai and the team. Would definitely recommend

George Singh was difficult to deal with. He tried to hold back our deposit despite there being no reason to. Fortunately, we were able to deal with his complete lack of professionalism and got our deposit back. Since leaving University, I have rented with other estate agents, whom have been nothing but professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. This has luckily restored my confidence in renting. I can only hope that the level of professionalism has increased since I rented with George Adams.

He was always available even in the evenings and weekends. He was always very attentive and friendly. He really does put client service first, always going the extra mile.
25th Mar 2024 (11 weeks ago)Awful, unprofessional and incompetent. Jennie did not arrive for my viewing despite me having received a confirmation email. I didn't even receive the common courtesy of a phone call to tell me she couldn't make it. After ringing the office to let them know I received a phone call from her to apologise and let me know that she would send me a video tour of the apartment. When I asked when I could expect to receive this video I was told she wasn't sure and she would have to check her diary. This after completely wasting my time and efforts. Quite disgusting to be honest. No sense of urgency or respect. Needless to say I am yet to receive the video. I guess her diary was rather full. Either that or they are a pathetic, tin pan operation that are not fit to sell you a cardboard box, much less a house. They actually obstruct the sale of properties not encourage them. Avoid them wherever possible. I'm sure they will reply to this review and question my legitimacy and claims like they have done with other negative reviews (another great way to treat customers)
