Antoniya showed me around to a view a flat a few weeks ago, genuine warmth and friendliness !
Followed up and clarified my next steps.
There need to be more people who show actual interest in people-facing jobs, and Antoniya is certainly one who examples this!
No joke, if it wasnt for Antoniya and the ease of how the viewing was handled..I would not have bothered to apply for the flat!

Had a really disappointing experience today with William H Brown in Headingley. Yesterday, my partner and I rang about a flat that we both absolutely loved the look of , situated in the city centre. The lady that we spoke to yesterday was friendly and helpful and booked us in to view the flat this afternoon at 14:40. She emphasised that this would be provisionally booked as they had not been able to get in touch with the current tenants; which we completely understood. It reached dinner time today and we had not had any form of communication from William H Brown so presumed that our viewing was still to go ahead. My partner rang and a different lady from the one we spoke to yesterday answered. She said that they had not been able to get in touch with the current tenants again; which again we completely understand that this is out of the control of William H Brown. However, the lady proceeded to say that if we did not hear from William H Brown later in the day to presume that the viewing would not be going ahead. The problem we have with this is that firstly a call from William H Brown would have been appreciated to let us know that they were unsure whether the viewing would go ahead earlier in the day as if we would not have called William H Brown ourselves we would have gone to the viewing assuming it was still going ahead. There was no appreciation of William H Brown of how long it would take us to get to the flat we were going to view from our current address; the assumption was just that we lived not far from the city centre. Basically, we have just been sat in limbo waiting to see whether our viewing was still going to go ahead. Luckily, we are both teachers and it is half term otherwise we would not have had the luxury to sit waiting around all day!! Finally, a call to say that they would arrange another viewing would have been appreciated. This has left us feeling not valued and not wanting to view any further flats with William H Brown. We had a really great experience with the team at William H Brown, Headingley. They we're super responsive, friendly, and happy to help with anything that came up - very reassuring as a first time buyer.
We also used their in-house mortgage adviser services with Tom Madden who couldn't have been nicer. He was thorough, friendly and made the whole process really smooth - we exchanged lots of e-mails and calls and it never felt like we we're asking too much of him.

I have rented a property with William H Brown agents Headingly branch. I would never recommended anyone to choose this agency. The agents including the senior letting agents are unprofessional and never helps you on anything as soon you sign the agreement. I have faced many issues during the onboarding and the agents never bother to help. One of the senior letting agent Roxanne behaved rude and never bother to even listen to anything. They never respond to your emails and disconnects the call while talking and never picks up the phone again.
Listing a few issues I faced with them:
1) Wrong contract start dates in the agreement: I was told that they would change the contract start dates after I sign the agreement over email but refused to change it after I signed.
2) key delivery :I was told that the key will be delivered at the property but no one was there to give the keys and I was eveb received any calls or email to hand over the key. The agent never picked up my call or messages and later was told he was on holiday. I had to follow up and go to the agency office to collect my keys few days after my tenancy start date. The senior letting agagagaent was so rude when I went to colect the keys and didn't bother to listen to me.
3) Property delivered uncleaned with dirty toilets: I was promised the house will be cleaned, painted and gardens will be cleaned. But, they haven't even vaccines the property and haven't even flsued the toilet. It was left as it is by the previous tenant and I had to do al the cleaning. The agents never responded to my calls or emails and it's been more than 2 months of me following up.
4) Tenant insurance issue: The agents we're behind me to purchase the house insurance and mentioned it's free for first 45 days. I was chargedthrice withing first 45 days. The insurance company did not recognize the insurance number I received by mail and asked me to reach out to the agwncy from whom I purchased this. As usual the letting agency never responded to my emails and I am still chasing.
Overall I had a terrible experience with the agency and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.... Read more

Simply the best. In our recent house sale I dealt with four members of staff at the Headingley branch: Leah Sutcliffe, Jack Pinder, Jessica Winterburn and Jessica Hallas. Leah clearly runs a team dedicated to excellent customer service, focused on prompt action, effective communication and regular support. When Jack viewed our property he was fully prepared with details of local sales of similar properties, and was warm and approachable, and open to any questions we had. Jessica Winterburn provided the administrative support responsively and quickly, and was very clear about the procedures we had to follow. Special mention must be given to Jessica Hallas however. Her regular updates on the progress of the sale - sometimes more often than weekly - supported us greatly, and showed that she undertook the negotiations between all parties with the utmost professionalism.
