I have used Reeds Rains Crossgates to let out my property for a number of years. All the team are very professional, polite, efficient and enthusiastic! Would highly recommend!
I was disgusted by the way treated by Reed today. Firstly l sent them an email to arrange a viewing 4 days ago and did not get a response, when l called the day after the office to chase up the email I could tell they had not bothered to read my email as l was asked to go through the form l had already filled in the email.
I booked appointment for a viewing today for 10am, the agent called at 9.57 to inform that she could not attend the appointment because she could not get into the residents car park and she did not want to pay for parking and she didn't want to get fined. She then tries to book another appointment and my response of course no and her response was "okey dokey" that was so rude and unprofessional.
I drove all the way down to that apartment and payed parking ticket to be there
I would not recommend this agency to anyone
When I popped in to Hunters North Leeds to ask about their Letting Services I was really impressed with the range of services they offer. Everything was explained clearly and I felt at home! The whole team couldn't have been more helpful - well done - you made me feel welcome.
Worst Service for Tenants. Landlord biased and name suggest that they are Hunters for Money and not for service
Myself and my husband used this Estate Agents for around 15 years or perhaps more. We used them to manage a property, to find tenants and to ultimately sell the property. The advice they gave me was assured and professional. The tenants had nothing but praise for the manner in which the property was managed and the communication was timely. They listen and act according to your preferences. I would highly recommend buying or selling a property with Moore's.
This review is to let students and young professionals beware when attempting to let from Moore’s and when that subsequently falls through due to general incompetence on their part and lack of customer service training, they hold no remorse when attempting to slander applicants publicly online when they don’t appreciate genuine critiques on their people skills. It’s ironic that that the company states publicly that they have a policy of not letting outside individuals view a property on the behalf of the prospective tenant, but for a letting agent to make that mistake not just once but twice is quite extraordinary. What’s also extraordinary is when letting agents lie through their teeth to state they “never received a document” in the first place and that they were not the ones to contact outside viewers when they established contact in the first place. Moore’s cares more about maintaining a stellar reputation (which I’m certain they have done well in the past otherwise they wouldn’t have earned the reputation) but 1) they discriminate against young professionals who don’t know their rights 2) are aggressively obtuse in how they handle customers. Best of luck to those taking the risk of letting through them!
Had a great experience with Manning Stainton who sold our house recently. I was nervous that we were not doing the right thing and that it would drag on for ages, but Sarah, Simone, Karen and Louise and all the other team members did a great job. The photos and marketing were superb, there were loads of viewings and the agents acted for us in negotiating the sale offering just the right amount of support and advice. We agreed a sale in 10 days and completed just over 2 months later. A fantastic experience, thanks so much to Manning Stainton Horsforth.
Lies and incompetence from almost each member of staff.
From initially being unable to spell our names right on contracts, to organising a open day on a bank holiday, to putting our property live on Rightmove etc.incomplete and removing for several days losing the new nature our listing and depriving us of valuable interest. On the back of that lying about knowing the cause. To accompanied viewers being unable to work out the keys, and parking in the drive which can fit 3 cars and blocking it preventing the viewer from parking and drawing attention to the narrow private street. Lying about what they would tell potential buyers, releasing info we were told wouldn't be released to buyers for example the minimum we would be prepared to accept. Not including all relevant materials in brochures, we printed specific items ourselves and left around the house. Basic agreements like no viewings between x and x were questioned. The move manager was non-existent promised updates never arrived. We had to do the chasing of our move manger who regularly mis-understood and at one point writing in a mail to us the complete opposite to what had happened. Allowing things to happen which were not allowed in their contract.
Manning Stanton increased our stress levels and needed to be actively managed and chased by us throughout. Terrible service, I won't be using them again.
The similarly worded 5 star google reviews from similar accounts appear to be a little suspicious, I would take these with a pinch of salt.
