24th Apr 2024 (3 days ago)An individual named Sebastian works at these premises , he and his manager Sara are a little bully crew, who are happy to try and intimidate their customers to not claim any responsibility, spoke in an absolute abominable tone to my mother ! Wouldn’t be surprised if they had rabid rats for brains !

I called back several times talked to people who apparently, didn't have a clue. Got an answer on my 5th call to be told they "unfortunately had accepted another offer. If I'd called sooner I'd of been accepted." ?????????.untrustworthy and a complete waste of time.

Our year of renting through Cornerstone has been remarkably smooth, characterized by quick - if not same-day - repairs and maintenance. It's been an entirely hassle-free experience.

Thank you!- 3rd Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Had a really disappointing experience today with William H Brown in Headingley. Yesterday, my partner and I rang about a flat that we both absolutely loved the look of , situated in the city centre. The lady that we spoke to yesterday was friendly and helpful and booked us in to view the flat this afternoon at 14:40. She emphasised that this would be provisionally booked as they had not been able to get in touch with the current tenants; which we completely understood. It reached dinner time today and we had not had any form of communication from William H Brown so presumed that our viewing was still to go ahead. My partner rang and a different lady from the one we spoke to yesterday answered. She said that they had not been able to get in touch with the current tenants again; which again we completely understand that this is out of the control of William H Brown. However, the lady proceeded to say that if we did not hear from William H Brown later in the day to presume that the viewing would not be going ahead. The problem we have with this is that firstly a call from William H Brown would have been appreciated to let us know that they were unsure whether the viewing would go ahead earlier in the day as if we would not have called William H Brown ourselves we would have gone to the viewing assuming it was still going ahead. There was no appreciation of William H Brown of how long it would take us to get to the flat we were going to view from our current address; the assumption was just that we lived not far from the city centre. Basically, we have just been sat in limbo waiting to see whether our viewing was still going to go ahead. Luckily, we are both teachers and it is half term otherwise we would not have had the luxury to sit waiting around all day!! Finally, a call to say that they would arrange another viewing would have been appreciated. This has left us feeling not valued and not wanting to view any further flats with William H Brown. Very poor communication and frankly a waste of our time!

28th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Dealt with the Castleford branch for years as a family with our rental properties. As of late we’ve been dealing with Stacey at the branch who is THE BEST agent we’ve used! Nothing is too much trouble, if she says she’s doing something it gets done and all with a lovely attitude! I’ve recently had a property with an awkward tenant and she was there to help take action every step and get us back on the right track! Lovely young lady and a credit to the branch!! Thank you.

It’s been quite a juggle but he communicated well and responded quickly with suggestions and quotes for issues and maintenance jobs reported by the tenant. I’d recommend Haf to manage your property.
27th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)My son saw a house he liked on Rightmove, so because of his work commitments, I agreed to help him sort it. It is 40years since his dad and I bought our house! Laura Parkinson has been really helpful, talking us through the process, arranged a prompt viewing and when our son wanted to make an offer was very clear and helpful about what was needed, briefing her colleagues so they were able to assist when she was not going to around for a couple of days. She has now handed us on to her colleague to see us through the next stage. So far she has ensured that a potentially fraught process has progressed very smoothly- 20th Dec 2023 (18 weeks ago)Really helpful team members, friendly and warm. 19th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Contractors review. 5 start service from start to finish. Always getting jobs booked in as soon as tenants report them. Chris always get back to you when he says he will and payments are always made on time. All office staff are very friendly. Great company to work along side.

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
