We applied for a property with this company and the response was amazing, they helped us through everything step by step everything was really quick and smooth and the property is amazing. I’d like to give everybody who helped us a massive thank you but a huge shout out to Carla North as she was a massive help for us and guided us through the whole process. She is a credit to the company!!!

5th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)I would recommend everyone to avoid this ‘letting agency’. At the end of my tenancy, the communication was extremely poor, they did not inform the landlord of key information and threatened me with deductions from my deposit. It took over a month to receive any information about the deposit (despite chasing) and when I finally received a response, the deductions were laughable. A £200 cleaning fee despite the property being in a better state than when I moved in. A charge for late return of keys despite no incoming tenants and the extra days being agreed by the landlord. I questioned this and asked for evidence of cleaning invoices etc; I never got a response. I had to open a dispute with the DPS to get my money back, funnily enough they managed to respond to that. Overall a terrible and hugely stressful experience which I did not appreciate when moving house.- 4th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)We have recently sold our property with William H Brown. It has been a very positive experience - from the initial valuation to dropping off the keys on the day of completion. No question or query was ever too much for the team. Oli's valuation was significantly higher than other estate agent's in the area and we secured our full asking price within 3 weeks! If we had decided to sell with someone else, we would have sold for 20% less! We couldn't recommend William H Brown Morley enough. Thank you Oli, Paige, Amy, Chris and everyone else ??????

Their knowledge and guidance throughout the whole process of valuing and selling a property made it easy, straight forward and seamless. We decided to use the auction route via IamSold mainly due to the speed and simplicity of the process. It also turns out it's cheaper than the traditional sale method and less likely to fall through at the last minute. The property was set live to auction on 11th May 2026 and the sale completed on 13th July 2026 - WOW 2 months and £28k more than we expected - what a bonus. I would highly recommend anyone selling a property explores this route and with George and Joanne's guidance and speedy updates you will know exactly what is going on at any point through the sale process. Your property may also sell for more than the listed price and you have the comfort of knowing you've set a minimum bid level.<br>Thanks George and the team @ Oakwood W H Brown - I would highly recommend your services to everyone.

6th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)I dealt with Briony who was very professional and easy to deal with from the start. Making the process relatively easy and kept me in the loop with feedback etc.<br><br>A couple of frustrations with the Manning service was there seemed to be a lack of communication between colleagues internally. I would agree to complete a viewing myself, and a viewer would turn up, happened on a couple of occasions. There were also times where 2 viewings turned up at the same time, thankfully I was able to do both. 11th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)Absolute nightmare dealing with this agent. We had an offer provisionally accepted on a property, until we provided proof of finances. Once we did we were told to progress with instructing our solicitors, paid for the survey, and were moving forward in good faith. While the seller was abroad that this would just be a ‘formality’. Out of nowhere, we were dropped because they allowed a bidding war at the eleventh hour.<br><br>While I understand the legalities of gazumping before contracts are signed, a reputable estate agent is supposed to act with a shred of professional ethics. Instead, this team actively encouraged a bidding war after terms were agreed upon, completely blinding us and chasing a marginally higher commission at our expense.<br><br>They showed zero integrity, terrible communication, and absolutely no respect for the time and money we already invested. If you want an agent that honours their word and handles transactions with transparency, look elsewhere.<br><br>They will drop you the second a shiny new offer comes along. Thankfully they refunded our ID checks.
