I was originally under a fabulous mortgage consultant who was understanding and couldn't do enough to support myself and my partner through the process. However, that consultant had to take emergency leave so we were passed on to another consultant named Georgina. Georgina was extremely rude and talked to both my partner and I like we were 5 years old and repeatedly talked over us, wouldn't listen to anything we had to say and quite frankly ruined the experience of buying our house. We had to repeatedly contact our mortgage supplier to get accurate information as what Georgina was saying was on times completely different. We sent all information to her which was not passed to the mortgage supplier and we needed to send them directly to them ourselves. When I tried to make a complaint about the horrendous service we received I was told that we would be contacted by not only her line manager but we would from that point on deal with someone else. We were not given another consultant and was attempted to be contacted by her line manager once and when I tried to return a call it was never taken and I was never contacted by them again. I would not only never encourage another person to use this service but I would actively encourage people to stay clear. Awful awful service.... Read more

i have used them to find tenants for 2 of my rental properties recently. in the past i have found them very professional and easy to work with but this time they have been horrendous! They delayed getting tenants into the property because they forgot to arrange the inventory, so that cost me loss of rent in both properties. they continually ignore phone calls and emails; i have had to keep calling, leaving messages sending multiple emails but never get a response. i have tried involving the manager at Bridgend but that achieved nothing, i am still being ignored. i cannot get answers to some important questions. i would recommend using a different agency.... I am extremely disappointed and outraged by the appalling service provided by Peter Alan during our recent attempt to secure a rental property.
From the very beginning, communication was horrendous. Despite paying the holding deposit and submitting all required referencing documents promptly, we received minimal updates on our application status. As our scheduled move-in date approached, we were left in the dark, constantly chasing for answers, only to be met with vague responses and further delays.
The final, devastating blow came on the very day we were supposed to move in. After numerous attempts to get in touch, we finally received a call at 5:30 PM informing us that the landlord had decided not to let the property anymore and intended to sell it. This last-minute revelation has left us homeless, with no time to make alternative arrangements.
As a pregnant woman, six months along, and with a one-year-old child, this situation is beyond stressful—it is unacceptable and irresponsible. The lack of urgency, transparency, and basic decency throughout this process has been infuriating. Moving home is already a stressful experience, and the blatant mishandling of our application has added unnecessary anxiety and hardship to our lives.
I hope this feedback serves as a serious wake-up call for Peter Alan to drastically improve their communication and customer service. No one should have to go through the ordeal that we did, especially families with young children.... Read more

We have been to see houses with many estate agents but the team who work for Peter Alan Talbot are great. They are well mannered, professional and answered the questions I had. They made us feel comfortable while looking around. They didn't have the answer to one question when we where looking around but they came back the next morning with the answer. Sales Team: Anya is awful to speak with, try to force you into selling via modern method and then gets upset when you say no. They're really bad in listening to what the customer wants. Despite this Jo and mitch are a pleasure to speak with but management needs to fix up.
Lettings team: is a one man show who is never in the office.
Avoid this branch like the plague. If you're reading this please just walk down the road and you'll find a much better and more organised estate agent.

We found the team particularly unhelpful apart from Mitch. The rest of the teams communication was poor and we found them quite unprofessional and insensitive at times. We would not recommend this company, however had a totally different experience with Hywel Anthony who were absolutely fantastic. I had an appointment on fri.27th @ 11:00am...my partner have bad knees at moment,+ she was after the night shift with only 2 h sleep,when I wake her up... she wasn't well so she stayed at home with my 3yo and I went I got stuck behind a line of cars funeral,so I was 10-12m late.
When I turned up I was told Jonathan couldn't see me coz he was seeing other client,someone messed up the agendas.I was asked if I could return 1h later coz my appointment was at 12:00 instead "and go for a coffee or lunch"...after I drove 45 mins.( Time and fuel wasted)Friday I had to start work at 6pm in Newport and leave home around 4:30pm coz of traffic,so they told me Jonathan could ring me at 12pm to go over the Agreement in Principle,...which never happened not even to apologize.
So I must say not very professional,if I could rate 0 * I would,they already wasted my time and money why would I buy a house from them...I can buy it somewhere else... Read more
