We booked Peter Heron to come out and do a valuation on our home. On the day they were supposed to come out they called to check they didn’t have our estimate written down wrong as we’d be lucky to get £115000 for our house. The guy on the phone seemed like he didn’t want to come out to value our home and basically cancelled the appointment at short notice using this as an excuse despite us explaining the increase in price from what we paid being due to a lot of work being done to the property. Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
