Really bad experience. We enquired about purchasing the venue for a project, and we were told to get full details for costs of the property. We enquired about the cost of bills on the phone, and the agent we spoke to called Margret told us f*** off and hung the phone up multiple times because apparently she could hear background noise and thought we were joking around however we were in a busy place. We do not appreciate this vile response as it is a serious project and were keen on this property however we have now decided to invest our money elsewhere.

Had a property for sale with this agent for three months, very dissatisfied with the service recieved and didn't seem Professional. Advertised the same house with Alfred Pallas sea road and sold within 14 hours for the full asking price. There's only one agent to use in Seaburn and its Alfred Pallas!

Have recently bought and sold with Pattinsons and would not hesitate to recommend them. The transaction was a fairly complex one as it involved a large chain of properties but i was kept up do date on a regular basis and any queries i had were dealt with. Overall very professional staff and really nice people to deal with.
Overall bad experience, no communication between referencing and branch who continued to lose documents throughout the whole process, over charged referencing costs by £50.00 which when we questioned were apologised too, we decided overall to pull out as they all kept giving us different information and couldn’t give a straight answer at all to practically any questions we had, only once a complaint had put in would they even respond helpfully or partially helpfully, the property was very nice but would not ever consider going back to Pattinsons no matter how nice the property, also when we pulled out we were told no refund would be given even though the incorrect charges were paid and we overpaid £50.00 which was never seen again, the only part of the process which was nice and simple was the exiting of the deal despite losing £300.00 it was nicer than the thought of having to be locked into a living arrangement with Pattinsons. They did similar to my parents when they were selling a property causing lots of lost money and inconvenience but that’s a completely different matter. Back to my original dissatisfaction my only request following the drop out of the contract was to have a reason on letter headed paper to confirm why I wasn’t refunded the payment and querying the £50.00 extra, to which I was told the manager does not have word and cannot issue this which I think is disgraceful. Since went with a different estate and letting agent who are perfect and I cannot fault them one bit.
Bought and sold with this estate agent, quality service from start to finish. Always went the extra mile including out of office hours, to keep me updated on developments.
These Vultures don't even deserve a 1 star.. We have just had the worst experience with the most unprofessional woman in the Boldon office "Joan". If you are reading this you should never work for an estate agent again. You had our offer in for over 4 weeks and yet you insisted we made a decision in the space of 45 mins.
Even after I told you I couldn't make a decision until my wife finished work at 4.30 pm as it was a joint mortgage you relentlessly called me 5 times in the space of 45 minutes insisting I make a decision on the purchase of a house which was in the region of half a million pounds. The only thing I asked you for was to wait for a couple of hours, so that me and my wife could discuss together your suggestion.
From the very start your customer service skills were appalling, it even took you 3 days to return a call from our estate agents Goldfinch informing you that we had all of our financial documents in order. We are still waiting for the call which you were suppose to return on Thursday 29th March at 3.15 pm.
If anyone is looking for a reliable trustworthy estate agent DO NOT USE Alfred Pallas !!
