Avoid, totally unprofessional - had a viewing arranged for a property in saltburn - had a call on the same day to say viewing cancelled as it had gone under offer despite me have a mortgage certificate in principal and assured my viewing would go ahead when I asked initially. Absolutely diabolical service, they advertise and promise a service they obviously cannot deliver. I think they need to decide how they would possibly get the best price or buyer for the owner, when they don’t let everyone who’s able to, view ! It was a vacant property too!

Had arranged a viewing today for a property priced at 46k. Yesterday I had organised a mortgage in principle for the full amount. Today they cancelled the viewing 1 hour before. I spoke to estate agent who said the received a “acceptable” offer this morning. I told the estate agent I was willing to view and possibly could offer more then the 46k asking price. The estate agents said it’s ok they would let me know if it falls through. What a joke .. if they where acting in the best interest of there client.. they would of took the viewing and gave the best offer to there client.
In short don’t use this estate agent to sell your home. They rather a easy sale then getting up out there chair and doing there job .
Should of took the viewing and put my offer to there client and got the most money for there client.

WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!. Due to dangerous living conditions me ,my two year old son and heavily pregnant wife were forced to live in for 6 months in winter. No windows ,damp and unsecure property.

I decided to use a local Estate Agent rather than a national company as I work away a lot if the time, so I chose Grimwood Estates who were professional, communication was excellent and they were attentive. Rob came to value the house and when I decided to go forward with the sale, he and his Team were straight on with it producing a little video tour too. I sold my house within a month which was brilliant. They made selling my house stress less which was great. They were always quick to respond to any queries especially through the difficult times we have had this year due to Covid-19 lockdowns. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend their services.
