10th Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

After renting a few properties with other letting agents over the years this has been by far the easiest and smoothest process we have experienced. Harry helped with our contents insurance and Emma was on hand to answer all questions I had, no matter how small. Thank you so much guys! Would highly recommend.

His professionalism, knowledge and dedication were outstanding, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. He was always available to answer questions, kept us updated at every stage and worked tirelessly to keep both our sale and purchase moving forward.<br><br>Buying and selling a home can be stressful, but Laurence made the experience feel straightforward and well managed. From the initial valuation through to onboarding, the service has been outstanding.<br>From signing the contract, my property was photographed, all the security checks were completed and the brochure was created and ready to go live in less than 48 hours!<br><br>Christian has been incredible; I couldn't have asked for a better initial point of contact - very friendly, willing to help any way he can and super efficient! I'd also like to mention Natalie, who has also been very friendly, proactive and helpful.<br><br>I'm confident this team will sell my house in no time. Highly recommend!

From the very beginning of my purchase right through to completion, she was absolutely fantastic.<br><br>Buying a property can be incredibly stressful, but she made the whole experience so much easier. She was always proactive in chasing updates from the seller’s solicitors, keeping me informed every step of the way. Whenever I had questions or needed advice, she was always happy to help giving me real confidence throughout the process.<br><br>I felt like she genuinely cared. She regularly checked in with me, often providing weekly and sometimes even daily updates, so I never felt like I was being left in the dark. She went above and beyond to keep things moving and was always willing to chase people on my behalf whenever needed.<br><br>Her professionalism, communication, and dedication made such a difference, and I honestly don’t think the process would have been nearly as smooth without her support. 25th Jul 2026 (8 days ago)Very nice; the bedrooms. Slightly affordable and quiet. Kevin was perfect for the home tours, he kept revisiting pre viewed houses and prices for us, so we could make informed choices. Also he wasn't trying to pressurise nor force a property on us.

He managed to get me to move in and worked his absolute hardest for me to be able to move in when I needed to. Absolutely fantastic service and consider anyone else that he isn’t taking care of lucky! Genuinely one of the best services I have received. Thank you for making my process less stressful and helping so much!!<br><br>Had a viewing with Harris today and he was extremely helpful! Answered all my questions and was able to help me decide on the apartment that I wanted. Made the viewing fun as well so made me more interested in renting with X1!! Overall great experience<br><br>Had a viewing with Alana, she was fantastic!! Was able to answer all my questions and was extremely professional and patient with me when answering all my questions. 100% recommend !
