Can’t fault at all, moved in nice and quickly and dealt with by extremely pleasant staff. Couldn’t have gone smoother, would definitely recommend
Won't be using them again, will recommend any friends moving house in Manchester to avoid. They're bang on the ball when it comes to harvesting your deposit and any other money they need, but when maintenance is required or there's an issue it can take up to 6 weeks for any response.
Amazingly calling them ANY time of day, the person you need to speak to "is on lunch and will call back" - Never happens, you need to get onto them in your own time, repeatedly for any action to be taken (in our case we left the tenancy after a year with issues outstanding)
Hugely unprofessional and slow to react to anything. Use someone else
In a word 'Awesome' , they are the best. I am really grateful for the help they gave in selling my house. Special thanks to Kimberley, Amy, Dominic and Ryan. Folks you need to understand selling is probably one of the stressful things you can go through, and having a good team is essential, I relied on them even at the end when it is solicitors who should be doing the communicating to push through to the sale.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I had an offer accepted on the proviso that the house was off the market. Spent the week organising solicitors and final mortgage and was to go in on Friday with ID. They continued to show it the following week (didnt inform me of this) and as I was about to go in with ID told me they had another offer. Played offers off against one a other to increase the price then sold it to other buyer. When I asked for an explanation they said other offer was from someone who viewed it before me. Found out this was a lie. The explanation then changed to 'property does not come off the market until ID check'. I was never told this. If I had been told when offer accepted would have been there Monday morning. Convenient that this information was 'miscoumunicated' and they ended up with a higher price. Buying/selling your house is stressful enough without dealing with people like this.
Very helpful and friendly staff. It was great to have a single point of contact who was dealing with the sale (Charlotte). She was very quick to chase up feedback and keep me informed of progress.
Find them very inefficient and ignorant. At the very first time they were helpful when wanted to view a property. Then newsletters were coming along with all sort of shabby, horrible looking photos, so I asked to be removed from the mailing list. I was however still heavily searched for properties, but every time I called in for arranging a viewing, they kept coming up with all sort of excuses and told me lies - claiming that they "did not know this or that"... On the last occasion I wanted to make an offer on a property, but needed viewing first, however they have not been bothered to sort this out with the owner, so the property was "sold" to someone else, however it is still listed on two major websites... Very unprofessional, nasty company!
From the moment Rob Kennedy valued the house through to completion the team in the office including Jake & Rebekah were very professional helpful attentive and efficient!
The worst company I have ever dealt with. Both for lettings and sales. Untrustworthy, tried to charge for damage that was done before moving in. When buying they refuse to arrange viewings unless the buyer meets their mortgage "advisor" and brings evidence of all funds and earnings.
Started off ok but didn't think much of the service after that, I had to keep ringing them to get updates
Right from the start Chris at Didsbury seemed doggie. Despite me asking for professionals only, he seemed more keen to just throw anyone in the property. Couldn't even provide me with correct info about prospective tenants. Finally when he thought he had it in the bag he took the property off the market on the basis of a deposit he claimed he received, after a viewing. About two weeks later this same prospective tenant told Chris she wanted me to replace a fitted belling oven that was in the property before she paid the first rent because the temperature marks had rubbed off and she wouldnt be able to use the oven. She wanted me to go halves so long as i didn't buy anything to expensive......i began looking around for Jeremy Beadle. Long story short - i told Chris she wasn't going to be suitable. Taking a sledge hammer to crack a nut set off Red Flag alert as a likely nuisance tenant. Chris had acted like he agreed her request was extreme because it involved uninstalling a perfectly working oven, buying a new one, then having it fitted...Approx cost 700 quid. Then visions of her lying in the bed looking for a crack in ceiling and wanting to withhold rent could become a reality. I told Chris she wasn't suitable. His desperation lost its cool and he told me to take my business elsewhere.Make of it of you will....LANDLORDS BEWARE! Chris with the FAKE smile.
