I spoke to the agent and asked a few questions, she was really rude so I asked for the manager. A guy called Nick came on the phone and said he was the manager, I explained the conversation between myself and his colleague and told him if he wanted he could listen to the recording of the call as all calls are recorded and monitored. He told me he didn’t need to listen to anything as he trusts in his colleague. This is basically calling me a liar. The treatment changed as soon as I told them my name which is an asian name. I was really excited about this property and was hoping to get some simple info on the house but they have completed disappointed me and their reputation in my eyes. I have put the complaint in writing to their head quarters so hopefully will get a decent response. I can’t believe in 2020 people are still racially profiled based on names. Very disappointed.
I have used Bridgfords Withington Office to manage my rental properties for the last 2 years. The recent personnel changes- new manager Angela Anderson and her able assistant Jessican Nunn - have been for the better. Both are easy to contact in person at the branch or by phone and email and are providing a superb service.
My tenants are equally happy with the service they receive from the branch and from Angela and Jessica.
I would highly recommend Bridgfords and Angela and her team to any property owners for letting and management services and to any prospective tenants looking to rent a home.
At first i thought they are helpful. They asked for a guarantor and we looked everywhere i went all the way to london to get a guarantor and when we got one they said the property has gone we were so pissed off we didnt sleep for nearly 2 days because we liked the property. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Both for lettings and sales. Untrustworthy, tried to charge for damage that was done before moving in. When buying they refuse to arrange viewings unless the buyer meets their mortgage "advisor" and brings evidence of all funds and earnings.
Great service from the whole team at Julian Wadden, from the initial viewing to aftercare once purchased. Whilst most estate agents only care about the vendors, the JW team also really looked after us and we’re in regular contact. Fantastic! Will definitely sell through JW when the time comes.
Right from the start Chris at Didsbury seemed doggie. Despite me asking for professionals only, he seemed more keen to just throw anyone in the property. Couldn't even provide me with correct info about prospective tenants. Finally when he thought he had it in the bag he took the property off the market on the basis of a deposit he claimed he received, after a viewing. About two weeks later this same prospective tenant told Chris she wanted me to replace a fitted belling oven that was in the property before she paid the first rent because the temperature marks had rubbed off and she wouldnt be able to use the oven. She wanted me to go halves so long as i didn't buy anything to expensive......i began looking around for Jeremy Beadle. Long story short - i told Chris she wasn't going to be suitable. Taking a sledge hammer to crack a nut set off Red Flag alert as a likely nuisance tenant. Chris had acted like he agreed her request was extreme because it involved uninstalling a perfectly working oven, buying a new one, then having it fitted...Approx cost 700 quid. Then visions of her lying in the bed looking for a crack in ceiling and wanting to withhold rent could become a reality. I told Chris she wasn't suitable. His desperation lost its cool and he told me to take my business elsewhere.Make of it of you will....LANDLORDS BEWARE! Chris with the FAKE smile.
Very happy with the whole experience of selling the property with Sell Well. All the staff were professional but very friendly. They kept In regular contact with updates of the sale. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they guided us through the whole process. Would definitely recommend them to others.
