Exceptional! Cardwells Bolton have been absolutely amazing throughout our dealings with them. Andrew, Ric and Claire are always so professional and friendly and we trust their advice and knowledge implicitly. Their attention to detail in the advertising of our property has been second to none and we will most definitely use their services again in the future. Thank you to the whole team.
I instructed Cardwells to act as rental agents for two newly refurbished properties a couple of years.
Bad experience from start to finish. I left shoe covers for any prospective tennants to be shown around the house as the carpets were brand new. Discovered the letting agent was wearing shoes and also instructing any viewers to not bother with the covers. Arrogant and unprofessional attitude. They recommend clients who didnt pass a credit check. I complained and they cancelled the contract and tried to bill me for their time. They didn't even realise that the terms of their own contract stated that if they cancelled then no payment was due ! When I pointed this out and also told them I would take the matter to ARLA , they became contrite and apologetic.
Now with the pandemic, I've got time and inclination to finaly post this review.

a house in my chosen area came up for sale late evening .the next morning as the harwood doors opened i rang and booked an appointment,it was within the hour. i was the 3rd viewer in and after my viewing i went straight round to the office and made my offer. whilst there the staff immediately contacted the vendor and my offer was officially accepted.
from the --initial call -- to view -- to offer -- to prove id from other sources ALL completed in a professional courteous manner within 2.5 hours.course survey yet to be done.but so far... tick tick tick

Their customer service is next to non-existent. When we gave our notice period of leaving there was one problem after another after another (you get my drift.). It seems they do not reply to emails unless you copy the Managing Director into the email. (It is freely available to find his email address on the internet).
It was so bad, that for 2 months AFTER moving out (with all rents paid & up to date) they were still asking for our rent for that month on a property we had vacated!
The list seems endless (I could keep going on about the issues we had over the 3 years) and I would avoid at all costs. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
We went to view a house through Harrison's, we were met by Abbey who was very prompt, professional and very helpful, answered all our questions. Harrisons then sent us a text message to follow up the following morning, really impressed with our overall experience with Harrison's. Thanks again .
Only four stars because the property has only just gone on the market. So far I have been impressed with the way they cared about what they could do for me rather than just in the sale. They have also been highly effective in keeping me informed about what is happening.
We couldn't have had a nicer experience with our purchase of a house through Redman Casey. Our house viewings and then purchase were made less stressful by the knowledge and cheerfulness of the team. Bev was outstanding and she often gave us updates on progress before our own solicitor.
Not a good experience as far as their customer service and telephonic service concerns.
