Deadlines for payments and deposit (over 1500pounds) which had to be met on time before we moved in - fair enough.
When we moved out, we completed all paperwork, property was inspected and we were told that 3-5 working days that the deposit would be in our account. Almost a month has passed and still nothing. I am just passed from one person to another and finally today it seems that I have spoken to the right person.

Staff were empathetic to my personal situation with regard to the sale of the property.

We bought a house through James Sellicks last year. I must be very honest in my review as i am reviewing a business that has many members of staff, supports many individuals as well as families and no doubt has a long established base within Leicester and surrounding areas. Therefore, be assured that this review is not from a competitor or someone out to try and harm James' business in any away.
Due to the purchase price being so high, i had the misfortune of having to deal with James Sellicks himself. I found James to be murky in his dealings and very rude and abrupt at times. The property in question was sought after and i wanted it so i had no choice but to put up or shut up basically.
I advise anyone reading this to be very cautious about dealing with James Sellicks. They know how to lure you in and make sure you pay top dollar by talking the talk to their client's advantage.
I found James to be impersonable, pushy and rude.

Stay away from haart. We're very keen to get us to sign on the dotted line and made many promises. After that, completely useless. Didn't take all the pictures. Didn't take all measurements. We constantly asked them to amend details, they said they would but didn't. Never replied back to e-mails. Even went in person to complain but nothing. Couldn't wait to get rid of them. Didn't have a single viewing in all 12 weeks. Absolute rubbish. As soon as we changed to new agent we've had a much better response.

What happened to the customer service training and the basic good manners? I was spoken to extremely rudely by Will Scrivin, the owner's son, who was provocative and confrontational and his sister Rebecca did nothing to help by sticking her own oar in.
When I read some of the reviews, I saw a response to a similar complaint from a lady, inviting her to ring and speak to the office manager. So I did just that. I was put through to Will Scrivin, the owner, who at first refused to speak to me until I said that I would write a negative review on-line. The following conversation did little to reassure me and it was clear that the gentleman was totally blind to any possible wrong-doing by his children. With arrogant children who think that they will inherit the goose that lays the golden egg, there will be plenty more dis-satisfied customers in future until they can get their house in order!
Now they resort to lying! When asked to leave, I politely agreed. I was in the car with the engine running when Jamie blocked the exit with his car. When asked to move it, he was threatening and offensive. Odious people!
Excellent service so far. Attentive, direct and knowledgeable. Quick response to email and phone queries and professional approach. Would recommend certainly.
It took too long to go through from August 2019 to 24th January 2020. Far to long and I did most of the work myself.i would never use again. They far to young to run a estate agent. You only see Zak once than it’s left to young staff to sort it all out. They lied to us saying it was a cash buyer when it wasn’t they didn’t let us know but the fact that the buyer had been let down for a mortgage and had to wait to get a mortgage through their parents.And in the meantime for all the months we waited it’s cost us over for four and half thousand pounds in costs for bills on this house was empty from June till January 24 2020.
