Although their fees were higher than other estate agents I was considering they had more experience at selling properties in the LE5 area.My contact at Connells was Jake Shenton who was professional, friendly and willing to help with any queries I had. The cynic in me said of course he was these things as he wanted my business. However the house sold in little over a week at the asking price so it is hard to argue with that. As they say actions speak louder than words.
It is not a agency, missed three times for my booked appointments. It's a shame of British.
Brilliant customer service, with fast and friendly responses. The staff member who was helping my friend and I really went above and beyond when arranging our property.
They were really helpful when we were moving in, but when we got the keys, we realised that the flat is dirty (even though it was a newly built property) and someone even forget to wipe off his urine from the toilet seat, so the first couple of days we spent cleaning and never received a compensation for that. Now we have moved out, we did clean, left in a better state compared to the beginning of the tenancy and yet they are trying to take our deposit for cleaning and "damage on the wall" which was there already when we moved in. And just to make things better, they not even telling us our DPS number, so we can not start the dispute. If you do not mind losing your deposit for made up reasons, they are the number one!
Had a different service with a competitor so tried Barkers and was not disappointed. Very professional service, knew what they were talking about and gave me real, honest advice on letting my property. Definitely worth a visit over some of the other agents.
I have been in regular touch with them for the last 5-6 weeks to get a viewing for a letting and still have not gotten anywhere. I have had 2 viewings cancelled at the last minute. No reason given and neither has there been any follow up. I have had to do all the chasing through email and telephone and it's been a real hassle just getting someone to care. The lack of urgency and unhelpful attitude on the phone when attempting to book a viewing a third time finally prompted me to think, "I'm done here".
Business clearly is very good because they are not too bothered about how they come across.
KRE and their staff have really taken the property market to a whole new level. They have been very active in Leicester and it is fair to say they have changed the landscape of the property market. They always have properties to buy and sell and have parties interested. Keep up the good work. It has been a pleasure working with you. Mr Kadri ( Partner of Bond Adams LLP
Iv been with KRE for about 18 months, initially it was very well organised up until the last 6 months where several members of staff have been very unprofessional. The communication side of things are really bad and now I can't get my final rent payment. Suki, Jaz and Narinder are those that I have been dealing with and my emails are just being ignored. Please avoid and use somebody more reputable.
David Sharpe at Spencers was very good. Trustworthy and true to his word. We handed over our key went on holiday and our house sold before we got back!
He did a great job at negotiating our sale and new property price and kept us updated along the way.
rented a place through spencer in that year i didn't have a working boiler for about 8month of the year, and they had the cheek to try and hold on to my deposit, oh and the property was advertised to have a car parking space when i got a car i found out that i didn't have a space
Excellent service throughout our tenancy. The team are helpful and friendly and emails are responded to very quickly. Any queries we had were dealt with very efficiently. Would highly recommend renting with them.
We bought a house through James Sellicks last year. I must be very honest in my review as i am reviewing a business that has many members of staff, supports many individuals as well as families and no doubt has a long established base within Leicester and surrounding areas. Therefore, be assured that this review is not from a competitor or someone out to try and harm James' business in any away.
Due to the purchase price being so high, i had the misfortune of having to deal with James Sellicks himself. I found James to be murky in his dealings and very rude and abrupt at times. The property in question was sought after and i wanted it so i had no choice but to put up or shut up basically.
I advise anyone reading this to be very cautious about dealing with James Sellicks. They know how to lure you in and make sure you pay top dollar by talking the talk to their client's advantage.
I found James to be impersonable, pushy and rude.
All in all i am grateful for the opportunity to be able to review JS honestly, fairly and openly and of course in the public domain. This review reprents my opinion of having transacted in a deal with James Sellicks
