21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Great service from Laura at the Swanley office. Everything was dealt with in a good time frame and communication was very good. She went above and beyond to accommodate viewings for us as well. Would definitely recommend.
1st Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)The property was valued at £140k, but attracted almost zero interest and another employee of the company said 5 weeks later it was over valued by their colleague. In actuality the market was never going to allow this property to sell at that value and was over the ceiling for the area.
29th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)They give you all the usual patter that they will do everything they can but when push comes to shove they don’t do half of them thing, they certainly did nothing to want us to stay with them. Would not recommend

Jo and Beth were extremely efficient in finding a suitable tenant and keeping us informed of progress. The process from start to finish was just three weeks, extremely impressive when you consider a tenant needed to found, references taken, inventory made, deposit collected… We would have no hesitation in recommending W H Brown in Sleaford as a first class letting agent.
6th May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Initial impression was very good. We were led to believe the market was good and to give it a go at the higher end of the valuation. We were promised a premium marketing plan with professional photos and description which would justify the premium price valuation for the area. We agreed to wait 3 weeks to launch on Boxing Day being led to believe there would be several enquiries and viewing requests to hold an open house event in January. Despite having 3 weeks to prepare the marketing materials the standard was far below expectations. The photographs were poor the description omitted several of the unique selling features of our house . We were presented with the brochure the day before the deadline for the Boxing Day launch and requested several initial amendments to the description but we could not alter the photographs so I was forced to take some photos myself to be included. Following a subsequent complaint we were told that if we’re not satisfied with the marketing we were at liberty to suggest changes with no acknowledgement of the short timescale and the extremely poor standard of the initial marketing. I was later told by the sales manager that the photographs and description are not that important anyway !!! We were told that the agents would be ringing around purchasers on their books to generate interest. When we had no interest generated and asked what they had done we never received a full answer which would match what had been promised. We began to hear stories of WH Brown not getting back to potential purchasers when leaving answer phone messages and suspect ( though cannot be proven ) that this happened to us . We believe this because in a four month period an almost identical property had 7 viewings when we only had 1. When we stopped contacting the branch we heard nothing from them for a whole month at which point we submitted a formal complaint. In our experience this agency did the very minimum to sell our house. The initial confidence led us to sign a sole agency agreement which now means that if we sell to one of 3 clients they claim they introduced ( highly unlikely but not the point) They will persue a claim for 3% fee . Be very wary of signing such a contract.

Ms Katrina Baker who had contact with guided me through the process and showed me round property. Katrina has also patience and kind whilst I was getting my references as well as different times of communication because I work night / day shifts. Overall Katrina is fab and william brown ( Boston ) great service all round. Highly recommended.

Ben advertised our property including the photos and write up to a very high standard! The phone was always answered and emails were always responded to very quickly. Very impressed and will recommend!
28th Jun 2024 (29 days ago)Chris Roberts was instrumental in getting the process complete, if i didn't have chris fighting my corner i would have never been took seriously Gilson Gray (vendor's solicitor's) and YOPA are god awful, no communication, no professionalism it felt they were laughing at me, whereas when Chris got involved, things finally moved on Can't thank Chris enough, and will never have a good word to say about YOPA or Gilson Gray

The whole team went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank them enough . We would highly recommend Newton and Fallowell .

A special mention to Sian Bedford and Alisha Hate who have been instrumental in ensuring our sale and onward purchase have happened. They’ve made an extremely stressful process less stressful and have done everything they can to help along the way. Couldn’t recommend them and the whole team who have helped enough. Thanks all!!

Michelle was excellent at chasing up the other parties when things went quiet and getting the sale pushed through. I would definitely recommend Sharman Burgess to anybody buying or selling a property.

24th May 2024 (9 weeks ago)This is the third time I have used Pridea to sell a property. Exactly the same experience every time. The property sells quickly with one robust sale that goes through to completion. Not my experience of using other estate agents in the area.
18th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)As a landlord from outside the area we approached a number of estate agents to sell our 3 bedroom rental property and chose Matt & the Kinetic team for a number of reasons : 1. An excellent Trustpilot rating, 2. A realistic assessment of the current market situation and a sensible valuation report and listing figure 3. Dynamic current marketing methods including social media posts and a quality listing with excellent photos 4. Creation of a professional, narrated guided video tour of our vacant property 5. Impressive shared data analysis of the effectiveness of their marketing and reach 6. Accompanied viewings at all times The result was a cash offer within 2 weeks and completion in a further 5 weeks, during which Jo chased the two conveyancers and updated us with the latest progress throughout. A very successful outcome with no hassle!
9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)They are very professional and friendly. Communication has been incredible, much better than my previous experience with estate agents. They were very quick when putting the house on the market, they took photos on a Friday and the house was on Rightmove by 11am on the Monday. I got an offer on the house within a week off the house being put on the market. Very good estate agents, I would definitely use them for my future house sales.
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Especially with Ollie, he’s been an absolute star! Very helpful and polite. He was able to give all the information I needed to know. Many thanks to him. :)
