Beware when renting from this company. rented a property through Pymm and co for 14 months from 2016 to 2018. Property management (when available) were in my experience cold hearted spineless group of individuals especially in towards 2018. I had to constantly follow up on work needed to done and for my meters to be read as tenants had no access. I wrote this because of Adam. I was dealing with him during my checkout who I found quite cold hearted and quite frankly did not care about anything from my past correspondence regrading the flat to follow up with when they were going to physically go and check the flat out (took 16 days). I was charged £160 (taken from my deposit through a deposit scheme company) and his justification for this was "the kitchen was not cleaned". He then followed up this accusation with a email with pictures attached despite leaving the flat in great condition. I opened the pictures to find some crumbs in the corner, a mark on the face of cupboard which was wiped off easy I'm sure so one can imagine I was frustrated with these outlandish claims. I moved out of the flat 2 weeks early as they stated they could not change the rent due date which help Pymm and co, fixed a mirror (with permission) in the bathroom along with other things which also helped. Who does not have a mirror in the bathroom? Adam forced me to pay or face a dispute and with the fact they know I'm travelling I cant help to feel they used this information against me in an sad attempt to take my money without any real justification.
Andrew Wilson at William H.Brown, Bank Plain, Norwich, did a great job in selling our house in a fast time frame. A number of other people also contributed; namely Adam, who went through all of the arrangments with us and Niki, who quickly corrected the advert when asked and fielded a number of calls well. Also a number of other people in the sales team who helped to advertise the property. This lead to an overall good experience in selling. I would recommend their services.
My housemates and I have had nightmarish experiences with this horrible company already and the tenancy hasn't even started. Their incompetence and laziness is defiantly not worth the £90 admin fee. We paid what we thought was the admin fee and deposit, a rather large sum compared to previous student accommodation. Nine months later we receive a phone call out of the blue informing us we need to pay a very hefty deposit by the very next day at the latest, they never so much as emailed us before hand, a lot of people don't have that kind of money lying around. I can't believe we're stuck with these people for an entire year.
Minors & Brady were acting for our vendor but we have to say that the service they provided to us as buyers was second to none. Lee and Emily were extremely efficient from our initial contact to view the property right through to completion with Emily continuously keeping us updated with progress and being very proactive in chasing all parties involved. Our purchase was fairly smooth and we feel this was largely down to their efforts. When we decide to move again (not just yet) we would definitely choose Minors & Brady as our estate agent.
Amazing service! Both Alex and Jamie were outstanding throughout the whole process of selling my house. Definitely not there biggest sale but treated like a top priority, nothing felt like a hassle! With the passion and hunger they show it’s no wonder they found a buyer for my property so quickly! Can’t recommend them enough.
Having dealt with a lot of letting agents, I can say that the team at Gilson Bailey Lettings outshine the rest. From our initial enquiry, viewings, and lastly our check-in, we were very impressed. A special mention goes to Helen who kept us updated throughout in a friendly manner, and David who carried out our check-in. I have never heard an agent say we want you to get all of your deposit back, ever! A helpful, friendly, professional and down-to-earth team.
As a tenant, I cannot fault any of the Gilson Bailey staff I dealt with, from the initial viewing the property and, almost 4 year's later, the exit of the property. Excellent communication from them throughout the tenancy, prompt action on any problems encountered and always very helpful and polite. Always gave sufficient notice for property inspections and flexibility, when required. The acceptance of email correspondence and digital signatures was a real bonus, allowing me to agree the tenancy from afar.
Application fees are reasonable and GB don't charge you for the little things that many other agents do.
I cannot find a single fault with any of the Gilson Bailey staff and would highly recommend the business, based on my own experience.
