29th Feb 2024 (8 weeks ago)Sweetmove were the managing agent of two properties that we let. Their involvement was complete from serving Section 21's, working with the tenants to find new accommodation in the difficult market, marketing the properties and showing it to prospective clients. Throughout the process we were kept informed and any issues were dealt with openly and successfully. I have seen how the large agencies operate and how they work to take a commission from every action or service that are part of letting, selling or buying of property. Such behaviour was never witnessed during all our dealings with Sweetmove as landlord and seller.
21st Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Just exchanged contracts on buying my first property sold through Mike Vincent. The lady that showed us around the property in the first place was polite and informative. David guided us through the rest of the purchase very professionally and was always available whenever we had enquiries or needed access for any reason. Hopefully we won't be moving again anytime soon but if we did I wouldn't hesitate to use Mike Vincent
3rd Apr 2024 (23 days ago)I have had a brilliant service from Carter Jonas Team - Special thank you to David Sinclair for showing me my new home at a last minute request and amending my tenancy paperwork quickly, to Celine for liaising with referencing for a small hiccup, and Grace Wilson for her input throughout the process. There may have been some hiccups, part of the nature of moving, but they were very hands on and rapid acting to smooth out the process for me!

8th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Perfect. I live 180 miles away from Ripon and found Paul and the Davis Lund team were not only willing to do everything for me but also to a high standard. They have also forged a seamless relationship with Knight Richardson Solicitors meaning nothing is missed and all is done at an impressive pace. This is the sixth property I've bought and sold but the first with Davis Lund and won't bother calling anyone else, the best thing is both buyer and seller were left informed and happy.

James was the agent for the seller and i was delighted with the amount of information i received ( from James ) through the whole process. My agent in Doncaster kept me somewhat in the dark but thankfully James fed me the info i needed to remain confident that it would all work out. I would definitely recommend James at Hunters , i am very impressed with the professionalism and positive approach. Thank you so much!
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry

4th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)Paul at Bishops sold my Dads house on Bishopthorpe Road. We initially used another company but became quickly disillusioned by the fact that they would keep sending out estate agents for viewings and that knew nothing about the house or the area. We asked Paul to come and discuss his services he provided and was impressed by the fact he is a one-stop-shop. The house sold yesterday and we have been over the moon with the service provided. Throughout the process, Paul has stood by his word and was an amazing link between the purchaser and the two solicitors. He provided us with regular updates and was incredibly prompt in responding to our questions. Paul did all the viewings and was knowledgably about both the property and the area. My Dad and ourselves no longer live in York so Paul very kindly let the buyers into the property on numerous occasions along with builders, architects and interior designers. He was a pleasure to talk to and dealt with our queries in a very cheery manner. We would have no hesitation in recommending Paul and think his approach to selling houses was definitely the right one for my Dad.
