10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Estate agents come with a bit of a reputation - and in many cases, based on my extensive experience, it is warranted. But I found Sawyer and Co to be that bit more professional and sincere than their city rivals. Specifically, Simon Lemcke, who does not present as a 'salesman', was the reason we chose to sell with them. I don't like a sales pitch, simply giving answers to our questions for the sake of an answer, and the general waffle one has to experience throughout the buying and selling process. I am a straight-talker, am very detailed in my thinking, and appreciate honest, meant customer service. I felt we received this from Sawyer and Co, and if we were to buy/sell again next month I'd go straight back to Simon and his team. It's a tough market out there is this thriving city, and all agencies have a few agents that don't give you much confidence, but overall I was happy with the handling of our property sale, so much so that I thought it merited a review. As someone who works in customer service, I appreciate a job well done.

They were also very friendly, helpful and approachable, responded quickly and were happy to discuss even small details. Additionally, Ian’s estimate of what the property was worth was accurate. I was very happy with every aspect of their service.

His prior knowlesge of such situations help to sort it swifty and effectively.

We were well informed all the time and built a great rapport with estate agent Graham, who was always keeping me up to date with progress and timelines. Couldn’t recommend enough.

My house had been on the market with Purplebricks for almost a year with a failed sale coming in that time. I had countless problems with that company which made me feel like I wouldn’t be able to sell the house. Finally, I decided that despite paying the fees for Purplebricks, that I was left with no choice to switch estate agents. I had heard good things about Ewemove, and after speaking to their team I decided to go with them. From that point on, they were fantastic and so efficient with every facet of the house sale. Pictures of the house and the advert were up within a few days, and within a couple of months I accepted an offer. It was then that Jonathan at Ewemove really excelled. The sale was stagnating for a while and I was getting more and more stressed that something wasn’t right, but Jonathan consistently pushed both parties and our lawyers to get everything sorted as soon as possible, until finally we got a completion date and thankfully I have now sold the property. This review doesn’t do enough justice to the hard work and dedication that Ewemove and particularly Jonathan put in to make it happen. But I will be forever grateful and would urge anybody to use Ewemove if you were buying or selling a house.

They weren't just an Agent who showed us around, they kept in touch at the start of the process to advise us on our house purchase, and processed the paperwork really swiftly. 18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
