Just picking up the keys for the 36th house purchase in 3 years. It's always a joy to deal with Dixons @ Selly Oak. We've developed a good working relationship with the team who are easily able to identify the type of properties that my investors want for the portfolios. Particular mention to Sue McKnight, Jan, Tim & Georgina, their professional and engaging manner makes me keep coming back for more. Easily the best in Selly Oak by a huge margin and certainly the best Dixon branch I've dealt with Nationwide.
I am a landlord.
I assumed that because Dixon’s is a big name and reputable estate agent, my property would be safe in their hands. I was wrong.
I received a call telling me the current tenants will be leaving however they are unable to let my property as the tenants have left it in an un-lettable state.
These tenants found and vetted by Dixon’s have left my house damaged, vandalised and dirty. These are the kind of tenants Dixon’s have put into my property.
To add insult to injury, they send me a quote for thousands of pounds to put the property back into a lettable state.
I am still chasing them to get the deposit from the tenants, no luck so far.
I have decided to take back the management of my property because whilst Dixon’s is happy to charge and take letting and management fee from myself and the tenants they are incapable of providing a good service to landlords.
If you are a landlord, I would personally advise against giving your house to Dixon’s. I would suggest instead you find a team of builders and manage the property yourselves.
This experience has put me off agents and I am thoroughly disappointed with Dixon’s and the costly bill I have been left with as a result of their tenants, not to mention the empty property which I cannot let.
First class service from start to finish, wanted to be kept informed of progress and have as little stress as possible, all this was achieved along with a quality marketing brochure.
Would certainly recommend.
I feel that I was helped throughout the moving experience by the staff at Rubery office . It had been years since I last moved and am grateful for the kind assistance I received through this stressful time. The staff were always ready to help and communicated updates from all aspects throughout even at the final hurdle. I would recommend their services to others and would like to thank Rubery for a great level of service.
Rubbish avoid these even if you are desperate to sale poor marketing after 8 months 3 viewing. Advertising my home as flat when it is a house it said on deeds it is an offence to say a flat when a house that they made a mistake as they have a similar property has a house they rent out I pointed this out and I might as well talk to a dead wall. They kept knocking me down for the price I would give them zero. Tracey
All stars for those receptionists beautiful girls who tried to help me when I was almost lost to find out my job interview place. God bless them
I cannot put into words how terrible my entire experience with Centrick has been.
We moved into our apartment to find that it had not been cleaned, lights were broken and the sink was full of water as the plug was broken.
We complained to the office to be told that we should clean the flat, clean the towels which were covered in dirt and to fix the lights.
The also told me that the sink was not broken and it was just because I didn't know how to push the plug down.
They have 0 customer service or even basic manners.
One month later non of these issues have been resolved. I have called and emailed the agency every single day to be told I would be called back (this has happened once in a month) and that they would email me.
There is 0 communication and they pass you from staff member to staff member.
Also our apartment was advertised with two parking spaces when in fact it only came with one.
Again it has taken a month of them promising we had two spaces for them to turn around and say we in fact only have one.
The whole experience with them has been disgusting and if you value your sanity I would use any other agents.
Buying a house is rumoured to be the most stressful experience one can go through, however, we found the whole process from being to end an enjoyable dream! At all times the staff at Robert Oulsnam's -(special thanks to Michelle) kept us updated and informed every step of the way. They educated us on what to expect and how long to realistically expect each stage to take & their positivity & enthusiasm for our purchase made it a real pleasure! We made an offer on a Saturday - it was declined, we upped our offer on the Monday, had it accepted on a Tuesday - and completed 5-6 weeks later! it was unbelievable! & exceeded all our expectations! Thank you!
The team at Kings Heath has changed my opinion of estate agents. These guys are really good. They know their onions, they are responsive, give good advice and get things done.
Always emailed to confirm viewing appointments made by telephone and the staff were very pleasant and approachable. Regular weekly calls made to advise progress since offer accepted from proposed purchasers. If I had one criticism it was that they insisted on doing most of the viewings and yet sometimes this was done by personnel who had not even visited the property previously and so were not familiar with both layout and specific features.
