25th Sep 2024 (16 weeks ago)Renting through Dinsdales Estates now for nearly 2 months now. From initial property enquiry to now I've received exceptional support and service, better than any other letting agents I've used before. Chloe and Katie were very helpful over the phone, answering any questions I had professionally, outlining any details of the process clearly. 10/10 Yvonne showed me around the property, and was very welcoming. My appointment was on schedule, and I received all the information I requested and needed. 10/10 I then went into office for documentation handover, where I met the team, and I must say, are a lovely set of people! Very caring and genuine. Very comfortable environment. At key handover, they even went through the effort of a handover giftbox! Lovely touch. 10/10 Since living in the property, I haven't been 'pestered' or bothered in the slightest. No bad surprises with the property. I reported a 'problem' that wasn't even a problem (sorry), it was a technical misunderstanding I had made. Despite this, the response from the team was swift, and my 'issue' was solved by Chloe the very next day. 10/10 Fantastic Team, highly recommended. Morgan has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process—always going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Amanda has also been fantastic, providing consistent guidance and support whenever needed. Their willingness to help at every step made what could have been a stressful experience much easier to manage. They were both incredibly helpful, understanding, and supportive from start to finish. Thank you both for your dedication and professionalism. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you!

3rd Nov 2024 (11 weeks ago)DON’T USE FOR LETTINGS - CHECKS NOT CARRIED OUT I’ve recently purchased a property via care4 which they had managed as a letting property through a previous owner. Upon purchasing I’ve complained about 20 bin bags of old goods being left in my loft. They have obviously not checked that the tenants removed everything from the property on behalf of the last owner/landlord and this I why I would not use them and advise others to avoid doing so. Their poor checks have resulted in £££ expense and time on my part. I appreciate these things can happen and offered for them to resolve for me and not receive this review. I feel that they have been very supportive and proactive in a turbulent and difficult market in a City Centre location. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Agency.

From the initial appraisal, I appreciated their candid approach. They produced fantastic marketing material which really helped to set the property apart from the competition. Jonathan provided invaluable advice when it came to assessing offers, helping me to arrive at one that was proceedable . They successfully managed sales progression of a time pressured chain, ensuring a successful outcome for all stakeholders, I could not recommend their services more highly and would not hesitate to use their services in future.

18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From start to finish, their team provided a seamless and stress-free experience. Rebecca and Samantha were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. They took the time to really understand our needs and what stood out most was the level of communication – I was always kept informed and felt completely supported throughout the process. Whether it was a quick phone call to provide updates or answering my many questions, they were always approachable and helpful. Thankyou so much to everyone there!

Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!
