We had a very positive experience with the Keynsham branch of Davies and Way. My wife and I were living in Aberdeen at the time (May 2015), we had already sold our property there and had travelled to the Bath area looking for a rental property to relocate to - a potentially stressful situation.
The agent we dealt with, Olivia, was excellent from the start, she promptly scheduled our review visit, met us at the property and showed us around demonstrating good knowledge of the house, grounds and rental arrangements. There were a couple of additional questions we had which the agent checked into later and clarified for us.
We decided to take the property but returned to Aberdeen and had to finalise dates and the contract from there. The agent was very understanding and patient, checking with all parties concerned regarding details of the contract, move-in date, payments and move-in arrangements so that on the day of our move all went without a hitch. It was a big move for us so it was great to feel that this side of things was taken care of so well.
Overall our experience was very positive and our agent was professional, courteous and diligent.
Never coming back for their help. I had a viewing on Tuesday and I really liked the property. They said they will contact me to get my details and they will contact the landlord. Called them on Wednesday afternoon If they heard anything back from the landlord. They said they will call the next day. On Thursday still did not hear anything back from them, called them again. Friday - same. On Monday I was trying to contact them FOUR times - no answer. I called them from different number they answered straight away (!) they rented it to someone else. Racists, nothing else. I would not say anything bad if they were honest from the beginning and they kept me waiting for a week and I needed to call them for information and they did not even bother to contact me that they decided to rent it someone else. This is not a job agency.
The housing market seemed daunting as a first time buyer, and was, but Emma at CJ Hole Bishopston, was wonderful from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she pushed for resolution of issues as quickly and efficiently as possible, even when others did not seem to be doing so and ensured that everything was completed in a timely fashion. Cannot recommend Emma highly enough.
Awful letting agent. They do not support tenants. I would HIGHLY recommend renting from anyone else other than CJ Hole. Don’t know what as a tenant you pay agency fees for. Especially when they charge a minimum of 2 people even if you are just renting a place on your own. Disgusting!!! As someone who now owns a property there is no way I would use CJ Hole to rent out or to sell and am actively discouraging friends from using them in the new year after this experience.
Brexit woes and falling house prices were never mentioned by the Knight Frank Clifton office. There was an immediate response when we called and then when they viewed our property there was an energy which was not shown by other agents. There was nothing this office couldn't help out with right up to exchange. Splendid. Yes they were super slick, we don't like em we love em. Marvelous.
Knight Frank managed the sale of my house with professionalism and courtesy and dealt with what was a complex exchange, keeping on top of the twists and turns to the very end.

I have recently bought my first home and was very impressed with the service provided by Ocean and the whole team. Stefan Bates was excellent where he listened to my needs and made my move happen. Would recommend!
Style over substance - Ocean’s Bradley Stoke office is the epitome of this.
Don’t let the swish office and cheap suits fool you - under the surface it’s obvious that this office is rife with disorganisation, a lack of communication and zero respect for its clients.
There also seems to be some inconsistency amongst the team as to whether they will abide by their part of the tenancy agreement.
We came home from work one evening to find a “FOR SALE” sign stuck in the lawn with no prior communication - When we questioned this, we were spoken to on the phone like idiots and told that “viewings will happen no matter what”.
We explained that due to the sensitive nature of our jobs and what was contained within the property, the property was alarmed and we had to be present during any viewings.
Whilst abroad, we had a phone call from a very flustered member of the sales team saying that he had accessed the property and set the house alarm off - 24 hours notice was not given of this viewing and the office were well aware of the situation regarding viewings.
When we raised our concerns to the sales manager we were berated and basically told that we were wrong and he could walk into the property whenever he wanted - he claimed that they had left an answer phone message on my mobile - except I don’t have an answer phone!
The attitude of the sales manager at this location is utterly disgusting - it’s no wonder his team are incompetent at what they do when he seems to have a huge problem with being a compulsive liar.
