The description did not mention anything about it being incomplete, it just stated "LAZBOY OFFICE CHAIR". The photos did not indicate that there would be missing parts. Now I'm out £168 and pieces of a chair. Please be careful and don't bid to avoid dissapointment and financial burdens.

10th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Unfortunately Shortland Horne had my property on their books for 19 weeks and only managed to secure 2 viewings in that time frame One of those viewings was a buyer that could only offer £30k below the asking price due to mortgage restrictions I was advised to reduce the price by £10k but this still didn't yeld viewings or offers despite the property being completely renovated with no chain I was impressed with the pitch when choosing an estate agent and chose Shortland Horne over others but the reality of the selling process has not met expectations

Thankfully Philippa was always at the end of the phone chasing up solicitors and keeping us posted, if it wasn't for her we would probably still be in limbo! So a big thank you to you Philippa, keep up the good work ????

22nd Mar 2024 (29 days ago)Do not rent house on Lavenham Close in Nuneaton, landlord lives opposite and you wouldn't want to live across the street from that person. When we rented the house we didn't know that the landlord lived opposite and no one told us about it. Landlord will enter your home without your knowledge or consent. Besides, if something breaks, and it definitely will because the house is very old, nothing will be repaired, we lived in a house with a broken toilet for over 6 weeks and the landlord did nothing about it, we had to move out. Connells doesn't help with anything, they lie and cheat all the time. Avoid Connells.

Mr. Luke will help you on valuation to match the market, Miss. Melissa will help you on marketing & viewing arrangement and Miss. Meg will help you on applicant reference and agreement. I am luckly to met the great team in center of the Coventry. They are definitly a professional team working in the letting services market.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Myself and my husband viewed a property to rent on the 9th March, as we're relocating from another part of the country. Ben was very professional and incredibly friendly. He answered all our questions and most importantly he let us take our time viewing as he recognised we needed that. Unfortunately although it was a lovely house, it wasn't in the right area for us. They were all amazing & so knowledgeable & helpful with the sale of my property, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. From helping me with all the paper work, buyers, solicitors, reports & answering any questions always getting back to me that day. Keeping me updated on the progress of the sale. I have been using this company for at least eight years and I can say all my experiences have been top class. I have dealt with Grant and Mark Wadsworth in particular but all the staff I have had contact with in particular the the two I have named have been friendly, helpful, very informative and professional. I fully recommend them and this company. One very satisfied customer

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

She has been absolutely amazing in helping me with mortgage services and bent over backwards to get things done for me, contacting heads of departments at her mortgage company and the conveyancing company for my specific circumstance when it proved that was the only way to get things done! It would not have happened without Michaela!!
