We currently moved out from a foxtons property. And they charged the check out fee which was £165.. We never heard about this fee when moved in ..also the flat condition was domestic cleaning level when we came ! that was completely horrible so we had to clean all up. But for us, we had to hire professional cleaning team and that was £270!and the agency arranged it. That is quite prices but there were no choices. But then, the landlord complained about the cleaning things by calling. It is so upset cos the foxton didn't let us know anything about the whole situation. They rearranged the cleaning team but didn't notice to us and also the landlord. What a joke !

I went to view Flat 5 Analby House, 31 Boundary House on Saturday which was on the market for £475k. I was greeted by Simon D Souza ‘senior sales consultant’. I offered to pay the full asking price.
I was then harassed to show proof of cash for the purchase, I emailed them my 2 re-mortgage offers 2 flats I own outright for £474 000, showed a Bank Statement with a balance of £94000 and sent an un-blemished Experian Credit report with 17 mortgages on a property portfolio of £6.5 million pounds with every payment made without fail.
They then decided to blow my offer out with another purchaser who also offered the full asking price after me. This is highly unethical and following no protocol. They treated my mortgage offers as mortgage applications, the money is actually on offer and near ready for draw down. The other purchaser could only prove £25000, but I bet it was in £50s under the mattress.
I then made a counter offer of £478 000, but somehow they convinced the vendor that I was unlikely to have the money to complete and better to take the £475000 second offer than risk me not having the money. I believe it was Rory the branch manager to and froing with the vendor. I even offered to pay ten percent deposit next day with a 2 week completion
I hope the vendor is reading this as this agent was acting for your best interests has cost you £3000 because they had a personal issue with me buying the flat.
These bunch of monkeys wanted me to show them a stack of £50 notes in a suitcase, a re-mortgage offer is too complicated for them to understand. Its and offer and offer from a Bank an offer of £474000
The future is definitely online estate agents such as Urban Sales, why would you want to pay 2% +vat to these clowns when you can sell your property for £700.

Nick and Kane did a great job selling my place. They were personable and professional throughout, and helpful through less than ideal circumstances in terms of buyers. The place sold in the end for a price I'm happy with, especially in the current market, and I'd highly reccomend Keaton's to anyone looking for a solid London agent.
Keatons is in charge of processing the change in tenancy of our flat. We have been emailing back and forth with the rep for more than a month and only when we had to make the payments they were responsive. For all the rest it has taken weeks to get them to respond to one email. Sure, to get the deal done it's quick, but then when It comes to give back deposits or change names in contracts its far from a great experience.
