Worst solicitor ever. Moved out in August over five months ago. I was told I would be fully reimbursed my deposit. The landlady has ran away with my money and abby homes have not only done hardly anything about it, but told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to take her to court for the money, and that they would not take responsibility. After learning that this landlord is a crook and had stolen our money they proceeded to rent the same flat out to someone else. Clearly the Lanlord has stolen from us already once yet the estate agents keep her on their books and have put another unknowing couple in the same position. While living at the property in the winter of last year my boiler broke leaving us freezing with no hot water or heating for almost a month. The estate agents fAiled to rectify this problem and it was only dealt with properly after having to make some very angry calls. Again this problem lays technically in the hands of the landlord but the fact alone that the estate agents refuse to take any responsibility, along with the fact that they know full well what this landlord is like and have put other people in the position we were in is disgusting and quite frankly just bad business. You have been warned!
I really like this venue, it is quite big and spacious and I have been here for 3 events. For a concert / stand up show or does the job quite well. The seats could be in a little better condition but I don't have much else to complain about. There are also a very large of restaurants in the building which you can choose from. Nando's, Jimmy's etc. Overall I would recommend. Also very close to North Greenwich station, so can be accessed easily. The electronic posters and decor outside is also not boring which is pleasant for the eyes.
A great new space on the edge of a lot of new activity for the east side of London. A wonderful Italian cafe is newly situated on site and the new bridge over the river Lee to Canning Town makes it very easy to get to from Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Westminster, etc. Very close to Trinity Buoy Wharf which is well worth a visit.
Tube station is just outside the o2. Parking how ever was £31 for the short stay of about 5 hours, ouch.. but later found out that you can pre booked and it will still cost £16..
Plenty of choice in the way of restaurants, but again if the event is big then the wait to be served is also long.
Brought a bag of candy floss for my grand daughter £10 yes shocking......
Security checks mean you are not allowed to take your own food actually inside the venue, hence the exorbitant prices. 1 coke, 1 lemonade,1 half lager and a bag of sweets... £17.50 !!!!!.
Once inside and seated the floor was very sticky could have done with a good clean..
The ice show how ever was amazing..
Never ever let them manage your property. They use the GBP250 threshold to charge you on random items without informing you in the first place. They quoted GBP 150 to replace a mattress, but charged me GBP 200 to deliver and remove the mattress afterward without informing me in the first place.
