28th Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Lucy in the sales team went above and beyond our expectations, we bought a property they were selling, I went with Purple bricks. We had a very long 8 months with several completion dates and falling through. Lucy was fantastic keeping me up to date with everything, even checking in on me when she didn’t need to. Although they wasn’t my estate agents I wish I had gone with them. I would 100% go with them in the future, kind, caring , brilliant communication, always got back to you when you phoned. 10 out of 10 for Lucy and the team
26th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)We hired this agency to sell our house because we originally bought it through them (they helped us bid the highest, so we thought they'd do the same for us as sellers). Big mistake. First, we found out our house was already listed on the market before they even told us. Then, on the day of viewings, we got a call from a staff member named Isobel saying most of their team were away on holiday, so we, the sellers, had to do the viewings ourselves. This was after Chris from the agency specifically promised us they would handle all viewings. We were in London at the time, had to cancel important meetings, and drive 6 hours back through heavy traffic, only for many of the viewings to be cancelled anyway. We lost all sales momentum. They never apologized. They blamed the market instead. After three months, we ended the contract, even though we still had to pay the photography fee. The photographer they sent was unprofessional , he refused to take off his shoes even after being asked three times, and never apologized. The photos were terrible, the editing was poor, and we had to redo them at least three times. I would not recommend this agency to anyone whether selling or renting. Years in the business doesn't mean experience or competence.

1st Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)Just wanted to say that Andy and Millie at Newton Fallowell were amazing during a very long and at times stressful negotiation to get my property sale over the line.There were times when we thought the move would never happen ,but numerous phone calls and discussions on our behalf pulled off a positive outcome. Would recommend very highly.

Would use this branch going forward for both sales/purchasing amazing service. Used again in 2026 and Liz and the team offered a great service and would use again.

He was very polite, on time with excellent communication skills (written, telephone and face to face). He did a valuation of my Mum's bungalow. We moved from one estate agents which had very poor communication and service to Hunters who I can’t fault. James and his team are very professional, very personable and very knowledgeable. Communication was excellent: they kept us up to date at every stage. I would highly recommend Hunters. They know their stuff!
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
