3rd Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)I can't recommend Starkey & Brown enough. I was kept informed every step of the way, both Aimee and Lucy were so helpful. I found myself calling them to ask questions rather than my solicitor and the estate agents that were selling my house.
6th May 2024 (8 mo. ago)I have tried to view a property with this estate agent and how they manage to sell any properties is beyond me. They took over a week for a response to my initial contact. They never arrived for the arranged viewing. No contact details out of office left when they never arrived. No explanation why they never arrived. I feel sorry for people trying to sell their home and paying thousands of pounds for their incompetence
3rd Jan 2025 (12 days ago)William H Brown were selling the property I purchased, from start to finish their service was fast, efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, customer service was excellent, they acknowledged calls and emails and acted on them straight away. After having dealings with other estate agents I had lost faith in the system but William H Brown at Mexbrough completely changed my opinion of the house buying process, they helped make the process so easy. Thank you

23rd Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)I have rented a property via Blundells Rotherham and at times it was difficult to get them over phone. I urge them to pick up voice mails and respond to emails in a timely manner. But once someone takes up the issue, then there is no problem

The staff don’t have a clue what there talking about , you’ve got to constantly chase them up, you get told you’ve got the property then they come back a week later with you’ve not passed the checks after giving a whole week of your time and effort to trying your hardest to get you and your son a roof over your heads. Very unprofessional company . All for them selves, also lied to me numerous times and told me good lord the company that does your referencing told them I hadn’t passed the checks which wasn’t the case at all as they told me they have nothing to do with the checks all they do is send the report back to the estate agent who then decides if you’ve passed or not .- 7th Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)We sold our house through Hunters and even though it was a difficult chain to negotiate they handled it professionally and efficiently from start to finsh! We wouldn't hae acheived a sale without them, worth every penny. Thanks to Lisa and James
18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
