The whole team at Hunters worked great together, updating me at every step of the sale right up to completion. Firstly thanks to Adam who came out to value and take some amazing photos of our house, who then went on to upload them on social media, which I feel massively boosted our viewings. Brogan was amazing with booking in viewings which suited us as a family. Then on to Robert and Zack who guided us through absolutely everything we needed to know, right down to using the very best solicitor which massively helped the sales process. Nothing was too much trouble. The professionalism and experience you get from these guys is outstanding. I wouldn’t go anywhere else when it comes to selling a house. Would definitely use again. 5*****

6th May 2024 (12 weeks ago)I have tried to view a property with this estate agent and how they manage to sell any properties is beyond me. They took over a week for a response to my initial contact. They never arrived for the arranged viewing. No contact details out of office left when they never arrived. No explanation why they never arrived. I feel sorry for people trying to sell their home and paying thousands of pounds for their incompetence

There was no service and ended my contract prior to the expiry day with no fees because of their poor service. AVOID!

The person who was supposed to be looking after me, spoke to them twice in 5 months.- 15th Jul 2024 (12 days ago)Hunters were great, they really went above and beyond to keep things moving forward and completing. We were fully kept up to date by James and Lisa of the sale and were a massive support with the full purchase chain. Without Lisa I don’t think the sale and our onward purchase would have completed. 18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)From the moment that Shaun walked into my late parents’ home to value it, my boyfriend and I knew he was the right estate agent to go with. From the beginning to the end, Shaun was friendly, honest, upfront and very respectful of the difficult time I was going through after losing my mother. As I live in London and couldn’t be at the house often, Shaun would go the extra mile to check on it, organise and supervise repairs after a leak was discovered and even returned to the property after the sale had taken place to collect some belongings that I left behind that had huge sentimental value. I have no hesitation in recommending Shaun to anyone. I couldn’t recommend anyone more. You will definitely feel looked after.

Emma Atkinson was absolutely amazing- she kept us fully informed about the property we applied to rent, was always extremely friendly and seemed almost as happy as us when we were approved! I think I must have phoned the agency about 3-4 times throughout the process with questions, and nothing was ever too much trouble- couldn’t recommend them enough :)
