I would certainly recommend Move Residential in Mossley Hill and not only because they achieved a higher sold price than we expected. Their Sales Completion team from offer accepted to final completion were approachable, helpful, and efficient. A professional service from start to finish. This site’s review rating system describes 5 stars as ‘amazing’, which is ludicrous. Move Residential were very good.
Absolutely awful throughout. Would never use them again, they were abysmal!
One of five agents who valued prior to marketing the house. Theirs was highest valuation, but the enthusiasm of the valuer was the main factor in appointing Venmore. Took just four days to achieve full asking price offer, so delighted. A few blips in online listing - photos posted prior to me signing off, but revised within 24 hours. Communication good, kept informed by mail of upcoming viewings and feedback. Awaiting exchange of contracts.
Lovely helpful staff' Nicola is very friendly and helpful helped my son through everything from start to finish.
Upon arriving at the property that I was booked in to view, I waited outside for 30 minutes after my appointment time for an agent to arrive as the property looked vacant. I was NOT advised by Greenbank at any point that there was a family still living at the property and that I was to knock at a family home to see myself around the property, unaccompanied by an agent, which would have been no problem should they have told me that to begin with.
The following morning, I called Greenbank and spoken with Joanne Hughes (apparent owner, but according to Companies House she is just 1 of 4 directors :) ). She patronised me and told me I should have the ‘common sense’ to knock at the family home (which again, looked vacant). She continued to laugh like a 13-year-old child and raise her voice throughout the whole conversation. I advised her that I did not call to argue with her and only to leave feedback, as they requested via email. She then screeched and laughed (very mature and professional). She said that my email confirmation would have stated whether an agent would be present or not, but the email did not specify. She then insisted that it was ‘miscommunication’, however it was actually misinformation from their side.
Turning up at the property and there being a misunderstanding is not a massive issue… the issue is when I call the following day to resolve the issue and leave feedback but instead of a resolution or a simple explanation, I get patronised and laughed at by very rude, immature, arrogant and highly annoying member of staff.
After managing properties myself for the last 5 years I decided to take a back seat. Entwistle Green were recommended to me by a friend. What a great decision it has been. Tom Lovelady & Philippa Ellison have been extremely professional & a pleasure to deal with. With their fast & efficient letting service my property in Kirkby was tenanted within a week. Would highly recommend them, I don't think I will ever manage a property myself again ????
Waste of time, lie through back teeth about availability and veiws, absolute disgrace of a service
Safely the best Agents we have ever worked with. Listed a rental property with Whitegates Woolton and was so impressed, the branch now looks after our complete portfolio. Would definitely recommend.
Do not rent or buy a property through Whitegates.I rented a property from them and when I moved in the house was dirty and there were even dead flys on the window sill. When I complained I was told that we did not request the property to be cleaned before moving in!
Furthermore we were left without hot water for 4 weeks,as the boiler broke down. The boiler had previosly broken down and the engineer suggested the parts to fix the problem but Whitegates refused to pay for the parts and just got the enginner to clean the boiler instead.
When the boiler broke down for a second time I made Whitegates aware there was no hot water and I was told that the landlord did not have the money to carry out repairs! as the boiler powered the shower not only did I not have any heating I could not get washed in hotwater for nearly a month.
Also we were left without a valid gas safe certificate for over 5 weeks. When I asked why the gas safe was allowed to expire I was told by the branch manager that there was a grace period allowed in the legislation, which was false. When I advised there was no grace period I was told more false information and then was later advised by the branch manager that they were not aware of the legislation ,so why tell me previously there was a grace period if they did not know what the legislation was!
when pulled up on key points the branch manager would not answer certain points or completley refuse to answer questions.
I would not use Whitegates again as I feel I was purposley told false information or I was told false information because they had not kept up to date with current legislation, either way I would have no confidence in them that they know what they are doing.
I fear that Whitegates are only concerned in taking your money and they don't care about customer service or putting the customers interests at heart.
I have given one star as there was 1 member of staff that was helpful but definetley not the branch manager who lacked any compassion in my opinion and was unwilling to sort any issues out.
I called this branch looking for some information on where to buy in Liverpool. I was answered by Ellie and received an extremely welcoming and non bias phone call filling me with confidence in finding a property through them.
Because of the good customer service, even if I don't buy a property through them, I will be sure to use their letting services.
Wanted to view a property with this agent but they couldn't be bothered to go back to the property a second time in one day. Extraordinary attitude, and a lost, potential, cash buyer.
