13th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Had a really positive experience with Lara, who showed me around a property recently. She was friendly, engaging and really easy to talk to, but most importantly actually listened and took the time to understand what I was looking for.
She explained the application process and fees really clearly, answered all my questions and followed up exactly when she said she would. Having been to quite a few viewings recently, that level of communication and genuine engagement really stood out.
A real credit to the agency and genuinely lovely to deal with. Thanks, Lara!

James was super friendly and welcoming from the 1st viewing to exchange. Was really easy to talk to and knew alot about the surrounding area.
Cant reccomend them enough and should we decide to move on, Fulfords St Budeaux would be our 1st call.

The only agency in Plymstock to ask us what we were looking for and then matched appropriate properties to our needs. They recommended a conveyancer who was bit dearer than others but was excellent. Carolina
As the sale progressed, Carolina became another person I felt incredibly fortunate to have involved.
She has been absolutely exceptional. She regularly called me with updates, contacted the other parties herself, followed things up and made sure I knew what was happening rather than leaving me wondering. She also gave me practical advice about things I could arrange in advance, which helped enormously when everything became stressful and uncertain.
What meant the most was feeling that she was genuinely involved and genuinely wanted to help. I never felt that she was simply passing information from one person to another. She listened, understood the situation and actively tried to move things forward.
There were times when simply receiving a call from Carolina and knowing that somebody was actually looking into things made the whole situation feel much more manageable.
She combines professionalism and efficiency with genuine kindness and human understanding, and that is something you don’t forget.
I’m incredibly grateful to both Gemma and Carolina. They have each gone above and beyond in their own way and have made what could have been a very stressful and lonely process considerably easier.
They are both an absolute credit to Julian Marks, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed.
As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.
