The agent were very efficient and communicated promptly during the intial set-up. Very polite staff and offered immediate feedback following viewings.
As the weeks went by with minimal viewings the communication became limited as did the feedback from different staff. Some weeks we were left without any communication or update leaving us to chase the agent.
We decided to move to an new agent who priced the property accurately and sold in less than two weeks for a fraction of the estate agent fee.
Rubbish. 2 offers in 9 months & very little feed back except to tell me I needed to do something to sell the home in month 9, that in month 1 (9 months earlier) they stated would be best not to do.
2 offers recieved (from same person) were both in month 9 & for only 66.66% (2/3rds) of the asking price so both rejected.
I have not got the bill for their services so can not really answer that question yet ie gave 1 star.
1.6 % was amount Move With Us = company dealing with sale were going to charge me. They had 2 estate agents marketing the property & would have had their fee in that price. On top would have been cost of energy cert & marketing info x 2. Total cost with coveyancing about £4,500 +.
Within 2 hours of us deciding to sell an inherited house that we have used as a holiday home for the last 11 years Lee from Novahomes was with us to value the house and talk us through the selling process. Given this was 6pm on a Friday evening we were impressed. The valuation was accurate based on our estimate of the house value using Zoopla and knowing selling prices for houses in the same street. Novahomes change 0.9% of the selling price as a fixed fee that includes literally everything. Photos; Visits; Online Listings; Energy Performance Certificate; no extras at all! A week later our sale went live and within minutes we were getting viewing requests. Communication from Novahomes was via text and email and was excellent. On the day of the first viewing an offer was made. Novahomes advised us to hold off accepting until after more viewings had been made. After three days we ended up with 2 offers and after a 'best offer' round we accepted an offer. The losing bidder attempted to make a higher offer but we rejected this which Novahomes agreed was the correct thing to do even though it would have increased their fee slightly. The sale is now in the hands of solicitors and Novahomes are keeping us appraised of progress. Fingers crossed it all goes through without a hitch.

Jason and Joanna did a wonderful job in attracting a strong interest in my property and effecting a very quick sale. Their communication throughout was excellent despite my living overseas. As I was not present during the sale they were most helpful in keeping an extra close check on proceedings and keeping me constantly updated. I could not have asked for more.
I can’t praise the team enough at the Yealmpton office for their friendly advice and marketing skills. They put together a superb brochure, using a professional cameraman . The property featured in all the local papers, within the first week we got several viewings.
Due to change in are personal circumstances, We withdrew the property from market within a couple of weeks.
When I phoned Jason up to explain our decision, he was brilliant and very professional. I would highly recommend the Loscombe in May and I’m sure I will be using them again.
