21st Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Drew Stewart (Howkins & Harrison): A True Professional with Great Courtesy This morning, I had what can only be described as a scrambled-egg-induced social mishap—and I feel compelled to share both the humour and my sincere apology. While in the middle of cooking breakfast (and very focused on avoiding the dreaded smell of burnt eggs taking over my home), the doorbell rang. Expecting a delivery, I rushed to answer it, only to find a well-dressed young gentleman who politely introduced himself as Drew. Before he could even explain his reason for visiting, I abruptly cut him off—twice—saying I was busy, and quickly shut the door. The moment I returned to the kitchen, the weight of my behaviour hit me. I realised how dismissive and abrupt I must have seemed, and I immediately felt awful. Determined to apologise, I rushed back outside hoping to find him nearby—but he was nowhere in sight. A little later, I heard something come through the letterbox. It was a note from Drew, kindly leaving his contact details and explaining his visit. I tried calling but couldn’t get through, so I sent an email apologising for my earlier behaviour. Thankfully, I later managed to speak with him—and I’m so glad I did. Drew was incredibly understanding, patient, and professional throughout. He listened to my explanation, reassured me, and even had a laugh about my overzealous attempt to prevent a burnt-egg disaster. His kindness completely put me at ease. I genuinely regret how I handled that initial interaction, but I’m very grateful for Drew’s professionalism and good nature. If I ever find myself answering the door to someone like him again, I’ll certainly handle things very differently. If you’re looking to work with someone approachable, professional, and genuinely pleasant, I would absolutely recommend Drew Stewart. He turned what started as an awkward encounter into a really positive experience.

They have chased relentlessly to keep momentum and without them, I’m certain we would have seen the time at least doubled. A difficult property to sell, they managed to quickly find me buyers when the sale fell through 3 times, remaining calm and efficient the entire time. Unfortunately the original property we were buying also fell through, but some great alternatives were quickly presented, noting all the things which were important for us. We truly appreciate the effort she put in to assist us and we are very grateful for her excellent service I would happily recommended her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind house

Dads' home ticked boxes but was niche which meant it was not easiest property to sell. The team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the whole process. Selling and buying at the same time can be stressful, but they made everything feel seamless and well-managed. Communication was excellent at every stage, and we always felt informed and reassured. Their attention to detail, dedication, and genuine care really set them apart. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!- 3rd Apr 2026 (30 days ago)Massive thank you to all the residential sales staff at the Rugby H&H branch. They smoothly guided me through the sales process from start to finish, and managed the (unconventional) buyer, defending our position when required. Julie was always swift to reply to communications and gave helpful practical advice when requested. Everyone was polite and professional. Smart, polished, charming without being too smooth for comfort. I would have liked the staff to answer the phone with their name, not just "H&H". I had to ask / guess who I was talking to when I rang in - Julie / Claire / Jayne / etc.
2nd Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)I visited Campbells website and was impressed with the choice of sales options. For my needs the Express Sale Method ticked all the boxes. I made contact online and was telephoned by a member of the team to arrange a visit to the property. Rhian was friendly and made me feel very at ease, she explained the Express Sale Process fully, created a marketing strategy that reflected the property but could appeal to a range of buyers. From marketing of the property we completed on the sale in 53 days. Rhian and shian kept things on track and kept me informed throughout.

The whole process was smooth from start to finish with regular updates, and nothing being too much trouble. Id like to give a special mention to Chelsea and Steph for being so professional and keeping us updated throughout. I would 100% recommend and use again in the future.
