As a former contractor for Richard Greeners I think it only right to let Landlords and tenants know that for ALL maintenance issues which includes cleaning that Richard Greeners deduct 10% from all invoices submitted by contractors which they know will be passed onto you.
Were you aware that not only are you paying management fees / rent for them to look after your properties but that you are also paying them a percentage for the cleaning and any repairs carried out? This can all add up to a considerable amount over the period of a tenancy.
I would advice all potential and excisting Landlords and tenants alike to ask the question before entering a contract with them, there are a number of agents that do not charge contractors, Underwoods do not and Chelton brown do not so save yourselves some money and go elsewhere.
It will be intresting to see what response if any this post gets.
Tried to trick me into setting up a standing order a month early when i moved in, next 2 years were okay, then now with no prior notice, i come home to workmen in my flat, which they've left in a mess and gone through my personal possessions such as wallet, notebooks etc. Disgusted. Tenant's rights? Not with this lot
