As first-time buyers we had no idea what we were doing, but she was incredibly kind, patient and reassuring. She showed us around the property three times and was always so friendly and accommodating.<br><br>Everyone we spoke to from Naomi J Ryan were absolutely fantastic and really helpful.

I’m asking people to be take care of any details while dealing with this agency!<br><br>They don’t support you with maintenance and once you finish the contract make sure to call them because they don’t give any support or leads to take an advantage on the tenant and let him extend some days with fees!<br><br>I finished my fixed contract with them and 2 days before I depart from Exeter I called to see what shall I do and they told me no you have to extend one more month! I told them no one emailed me and helped me regarding this and they were like you must pay!<br><br>We gave back the apartment clean and tidy and left the keys inside the same day they were having viewing for another tenant and we left the keys inside with them and they left it and emailed us 7 days later that we must pay 310£ one week rent because we didn’t give the keys to the office!<br><br>Also the cleaning fee even though the apartment is super clean they charged us big amounts im sure 80% of it is considered profit as well as their poor performance in maintenance and helping tenants to live in a comfortable place.<br><br>If you are forced to deal with them just focus on your rights and the contract especially.

2nd Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Never answer the phone, rang constantly for 3 days. No answer machine. When I finally got through, was told that the house I was interested in was rented out a week ago - Why is it still online then? Useless.
30th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Rude and aggressive staff. Black mold everywhere and several basic utilities that don't work but they won't fix. Extortionate rent, constant inspections where they bully and harass you for things THEY haven't fixed. Unfair terms in the contract that could be challenged in court if all my money didn't go to rent. House falling apart. No sealing so house constantly letting in cold, heat, smoke, and bugs. Woodlouse, spiders, ants and slugs. Given over in a complete state. Nothing but rudeness and spitefulness from staff when I want to live in a home that won't kill me. Gor kicked out cuz the house is suddenly on sale. These people are the most vile, disrespectful people imaginable. Don't rent from them unless you want a migraine and don't mind living like a squatter. Didn't even get the deposit back after doing everyrhing they asked, being charged to repair things that were problems when I arrived, so obstensibly they are pocketing the money, not fixing the issue, and then continuing to steal money from tennants to "repair" issues that they never actually repair. Evil people, demons in suits. Avoid.- 25th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)Awful experience. I got ignored for more than a month, prior the only communication I recieved was to keep reducing the price. 6 months on the market with 1 viewing, 2 days with a different estate agent at the same price and already have a viewing booked. They couldn't find my keys when I went to collect them and then found them but wouldnt return them to me. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend to anyone.
1st Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Nick Jane and Emma Dark managed our sale. Savills’ fee was very competitive. Nick and Jane and their team were excellent, communicating at all points, constantly on top of events, making sure that all parties in our chain of 5 (!) properties worked at speed and together. We’ve moved a number of times, but this is the best experience we have had with estate agents. I have no hesitation in recommending the Savills Exeter team.
4th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)Isabel at Strutt & Parker was excellent from start to finish. She helped us sell our house and buy our new one, was always on top of everything, responsive and worked incredibly hard to keep things moving. Would highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling in Exeter.

They are a fantastic team and always have the time of day to get back to you if you have any issues at all. Always quick to respond to emails and get problems sorted. Absolutely fantastic team!

My wife and I would be very happy to use their services again. Staff who were particularly worthy of mention were Florence, Rachael and Sandi who were very patient and helpful during what has been a challenging and time consuming sale.

They have now acted as selling agents, this took a bit longer than anticipated but Southgate agents have kept us informed and been helpful during the whole process.

They listened to what we needed (we have unique circumstances and needed a property that was wheelchair accessible and would grow with us as a family). They identified a property, facilitated online and in person viewings and answered all of our queries. As with most house purchases, something stressful crops up last minute - and they dealt with it seamlessly! The entire team are brilliant, often working unsociable hours to make sure their clients are happy. We have bought our dream first home and couldn’t have done this without their help.
