3rd Apr 2026 (30 days ago)After unsuccessful efforts with another agent, we switched to Bond Oxborough Phillips and met Elliot Jack. Throughout what has become an 15-month relationship, Elliot has been in regular contact, explaining the situation and offering advice. When it became apparent, after 12 months, that the market was stagnating, he selflessly suggested a Modern Auction company and continued to support us and them in what became the final sale of the property on 2nd April 2026. In addition, Elle Walpole, during the time BOP were mrketing the property was an engaged and responsive support to Elliot. My wife and I heartily recommend Elliot and the BOP office in Okehampton.

Karen, Sue, and Mark have been brilliant throughout and always go above and beyond to help, particularly with complicated situations when between tenancies etc. Everything is dealt with professionally but in a really friendly way, and they’re always quick to respond and sort things out when something needs fixing. Overall, a great team and a really positive experience.

Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

30th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)I’ve made 3 enquiries asking about service charges on a flat and got 2 emails just asking for details about my financial situation totally ignoring my questions. If you’re trying to sell a property with them I’d move on. Being a cash buyer in no chain I’ve started conveyancing on another property.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Highly professional, hard working agents who know their job well. They did not shy away from having difficult conversations and they were honest, giving accurate information at all times. Very patient and did not rush me to buy any property to make profit but rather wanted to make sure I find the right one which is what exactly happened. The best estate agency in Exeter and as I was looking for a property for almost two years and had "used" others too. Amelia and Carolyn I cannot thank you enough you made the whole experience memorable, you made me feel safe and extremely happy in my new home!!
