About us
At GetAgent, we're on a mission to revolutionise the way homeowners find the best estate agent. We know that many estate agents often appear one and the same, which leaves homeowners unsure of who will do the best job selling their home. That's why we've created a transparent platform to help homeowners discover the ideal agent to suit their needs.
Our story:
Back in October 2014, our three co-founders - Colby Short, Peter Thum-Bonanno, and Sebastian Powell - got the GetAgent ball rolling, and by February 2015, GetAgent as we know it was born.
Around six months after our launch, Colby Short stepped into the role of CEO, guiding us through a period of growth and progress.
Having helped construct the product that we still use to this day, Seb decided his work was done and pursued other opportunities in the proptech space while continuing to support the business from afar.
Thanks to the support of the notable names like Channel 4, Seedcamp, 500 Startups, and Marchmont Ventures, we were able to establish our mission as a significant innovation to the homeselling landscape.
Fast-foward to today and our hard work is paying off. Servicing a sizable 20,000 homesellers each month, our product is making waves in the industry. From the roots planted in 2014, we're continuously propelling our mission to better the home moving process for agents and homesellers alike.
