Top VCs invest

Seedcamp and Ascension Ventures led our first round enabling us to hire the first team members.

September 2015

5000 Estate agents registered

Within a year and a half over 5000 estate agents had registered to work with us.

January 2017

Our TV ad launched

We made our first TV ad and started broadcasting it nationwide.

May 2018

50,000 homesellers helped

Within 3 years of launching we'd helped 50,000 homesellers find the right estate agent.

June 2018

Touch rugby team started

Wednesday lunchtimes were suddenly very competitive (and sweaty).

September 2018

Channel 4 & Marchmont Invest

Marchmont led our seed round, with Channel 4 also investing. This enabled us to ramp up our TV advertising and grow quickly.

December 2018

100,000 homesellers helped

Only 7 months after hitting our 50,000 homeseller milestone, we doubled it!

February 2019

We went white water rafting

It was quickly apparent who in GetAgent was a thrill seeker (and who couldn't swim).

April 2019

200,000 homesellers helped

Our rapid growth continued throughout 2019 and into the start of 2020.

February 2020

We moved into our new office...

We moved into our new dedicated office by Old Street in London. Up to now we had been in co-working space, so having to order our own biscuits was a shock.

March 2020

...and started working from home 😑

3 days after moving into our new office, coronavirus hit and everyone had to start working from home.

Conveyancing comparison launched

Homesellers can now get quotes from excellent conveyancers, making it even easier to sell.
