19th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)A good friend recommended Q Estate Agents and I have been more than happy with the services, help, support and advice that I’ve received. I’ve met several members of their team, including James. All of them have been great. Currently, I am using their letting services and Ben has been fantastic. He is friendly, knowledgable, helpful and good at his job. My experience so far has been very positive - with frequent emails and phone calls, if and when I needed information. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
13th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)Make sure to challenge them on the deposit return. Tell them you will use the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and don’t be afraid to use it if you believe you are right. They wanted to charge £455 from my deposit even though I left the property in much better condition than when I moved in. The agent made several false claims, but eventually settled for a £75 charge. I hope this review helps you get your deposit back and makes these agents understand that tenants’ deposits are only for covering damages, not for them to keep.
25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Richard, Chris and Demi are the best agents/service I have received in a very long time. Everything was of the highest professional standard. They answered all questions promptly and dealt with any issues that arose, finding solutions to make sure the completion happened (when looking unlikely). Couldn't recommended the team highly enough. They will have my repeat business for a long time!
10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Estate agents come with a bit of a reputation - and in many cases, based on my extensive experience, it is warranted. But I found Sawyer and Co to be that bit more professional and sincere than their city rivals. Specifically, Simon Lemcke, who does not present as a 'salesman', was the reason we chose to sell with them. I don't like a sales pitch, simply giving answers to our questions for the sake of an answer, and the general waffle one has to experience throughout the buying and selling process. I am a straight-talker, am very detailed in my thinking, and appreciate honest, meant customer service. I felt we received this from Sawyer and Co, and if we were to buy/sell again next month I'd go straight back to Simon and his team. It's a tough market out there is this thriving city, and all agencies have a few agents that don't give you much confidence, but overall I was happy with the handling of our property sale, so much so that I thought it merited a review. As someone who works in customer service, I appreciate a job well done.

Kate was really on the ball throughout the offer phase, and Chloe was truly dedicated through progression and to completion. And all with a sense of humour! Very happy customers, just wish I had used them in the first instance. Thank you team.

As a tenant you are at the mercy of the letting agency to act in what you consider to be your best interests and I have felt really let down in the past. However, Frankie's extremely professional manner is equally matched by her respect, care, consideration and understanding of tenants. She manages the interests and needs of the tenant perfectly and with great communication, thank you. A 5 star review for a 5 star service from Frankie, I would definitely recommend this branch of John Hilton because of her alone.

Always professional, attentive and empathetic, he regularly checked in, and expertly led the process through, from viewings, to negotiations, and everything beyond that up to the relief of exchanging on our dream home. We were very lucky to have kind sellers, but if you can choose a guide (and we dealt with many in our search) for the journey I would recommend David and co.

Sam expertly managed our purchase, kept us fully informed and helped us deal with any questions from our vendor. He worked well with our own agent, which was particularly helpful as our chain was long and complex. Agencies are plentiful but Sam and Mishons really stand out. Highly recommended.
3rd Jul 2024 (24 days ago)Luke , Ryan and the whole team at Knight & Knoxley are a cut above other Estate Agents. In this climate tenants are generally treated poorly but our experience was excellent from start to finish. The team were courteous and efficient and didn't employ the awful practices such as cramming viewings or submitting aggressive tenancy clauses. They were flexible and prompt regarding snags that came up during the tenancy. As a landlord myself, it was reassuring to see this high level of service.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
