We've been looking to rent in Beeston for 2 months now and were really struggling until we came into Bairstow Eves. Jayne was absolutely amazing and we managed to find a property that fitted what we were looking for. We viewed it and applied that day. She's been so helpful during our application process and on the lead up to us moving in, plus she's just a lovely and bright person who has made the whole process really easy and dare I say, enjoyable!

This is a copy of a recent email I sent with regards to my treatment from this estate agents:
I have been extremely disappointed with the service I have received whilst renting under Bairstow Eves, and I will list my causes for complaint in full.
- A Total failure to fix a major issue (The house's boiler working only intermittently), originally reported November last year which culminated in multiple Electricians and Plumbers visiting the property and completely failing to solve the issue. - Obviously this fault is complex, but it is absurd that ANY issue relating to the heating of a property should go unsolved for over six months.
-Multiple issues unresolved when we moved into the property. As well as agreements made at the time of contract signing being ignored (The house was agreed to be rented unfurnished, but still contained furniture when we moved in, when phoning the response we received was a verbal shrug and the suggestion that we move the furniture into the garage which obviously rendered the garage unsuitable for parking).
- A Distinct and pronounced lack of communication within Bairstow Eves, the primary example for this is the online reporting system (in general an excellent idea) wherein you were asked to give a full description of the issues and photographs to assist whomever got sent to the property. To the best of my knowledge none of that information ever reached the plumbers and electricians who visited, with each only knowing the vaguest outlines of the problems at hand and knowing nothing of the details and pictures sent through the system.
- An additional example of the lack of communication would be our contact preference which were initially requested as Sammi being the primary contact and me the secondary with calls between the hours of 8-4 being impossible for Sammi and 9-5 for myself. Phone calls were almost always made during these hours.
- A shocking lack of organisation within the Beeton office itself, including staff having no idea who was dealing with our house and culminating in the office "misplacing" their set of the house keys and requesting that we lend them one of our sets.
In conclusion I am spectacularly unimpressed with the service, and it is a Major reason we have not renewed the let for this property, baseline incompetence is one thing but spending five months to not fix a major fault is something else entirely. I will never be letting with Bairstow Eves again and will advice anyone I know to steer clear of them in the same way I would advise someone not to drink a litre of battery acid.
Robert Ellis advertised my property for about 5 months.
5 viewings and failed to sell.
I eventually reduced the price by £8000
Still no sale.
Decided to stay and spend money on new kitchen and bathroom.
All Robert Ellis staff seemed friendly and effecient
Not value for money, total rip off, we was promised a weekly call! If we have received about about 10 call in 8 months, never got the story correct sold at Christmas and still awaiting to complete sale, we had to chase Robert Ellis to chase the selling chain! We lost our chain once due to them not doing there jobs before the lockdown, they can’t get any worst!
Absolutely brilliant estate agents! Bought my first house through these guys and they were more informative than our solicitors! Our agent was Natasha, and she was amazing! always keeping us informed and updated as well as offering advice to us as first time buyers. Fantastic Service! Cant thank her and everyone else involved enough!
Had same response as James, called and had no response back. Staff when rang to chase seemed rude! Have warned friends and family!
Quick sale, kept us updated regularly even through lockdown.
I found Holden Copley to be very good indeed. The photos of the house were excellent and presented it in the best way, which brought in an amazing amount of viewings. We had a quick sale and got a higher price than we anticipated. Throughout the process they were very prompt with replies and really helpful in every way. Our sales progresser even talked us through some issues to do with the house we were buying which was so helpful. I would definitely recommend Holden Copley to anyone wanting to sell in the Nottingham area.

I just want to say thanks to R&L Lettings for the great property management service they provided for us on our eight rental flats in West Bridgford. Over the course of 20 years, Stephanie and her team have done an excellent job maintaining and letting the flats for us. The lettings team are all very professional and efficient. Repairs, re-lets and improvements have always been dealt with promptly. The team are well informed regarding any updates/changes in PRS regulation. Thanks again for making the management of these 8 flats so hassle free, despite me living 4 hours drive away.
Slow to respond, unless it's for their own benefit. Completely unhelpful and we had problems with them releasing our deposit.
