Had to ask them to ring me several times however they did a good job, and I would recommend them.but the time we sold, the market was mad and I'm sure if I had a handwritten sign that I did myself, the house would have sold !... Read more

Not value for money, total rip off, we was promised a weekly call! If we have received about about 10 call in 8 months, never got the story correct sold at Christmas and still awaiting to complete sale, we had to chase Robert Ellis to chase the selling chain! We lost our chain once due to them not doing there jobs before the lockdown, they can’t get any worst!... Read more

The agency staff is past due a training in pro-client orientation and non-violent communication. Word of mouth travels quickly and number of disappointed potential customers who turned to competitor is growing (not only on our side). Previous year (as a group of students) we were interested in renting a property. So I went to RE to ask for possible renting options. Very uninterested and borderline rude lady said to look online that everything is advertised and why am I bothering them there. After this we went right across the street to a competitor and were met with a completely different approach - a professional one. This year (as a professional couple) we emailed RE about property viewings (as at that time they had the most properties suitable for us). After inquiring about couple of properties, a lettings co-ordinator emailed us that it has been Let (their webpage said the opposite). We then had a booked viewing, after the same lettings co-ordinator reluctantly gave us a date in two weeks time. Upon searching for properties, we have found out property has been let: a) no one gave us a courtesy of informing us, even though we had a booked appointment b) upon emailing, we received an automated email about the lettings co-ordinator being on annual leave (who was taking care of her customers?) c) find this unprofessional as we had to cancel plans for the house viewing d) what if we didn’t notice and just showed up? Again after the right property has appeared on the market we have taken our business to the same competitor as previous year (CP Walker), where we have had a completely different experience with the staff members. It’s sad how two businesses and their approach to customers can differ. Disappointing.... Read more

Holden Copley are a thoroughly professional estate agent that communicates brilliantly. They know the area and the market, and their presentation of my property was exceptional, with superb photography as standard. They give full coverage on the Internet, and conduct viewings at no extra cost. I defy any other estate agent to provide a better service than Holden Copley does.... Read more

Holden Copley couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They were professional. Their advertising, photos and and 360 tour was great to give a feel for the property. The team were also great at trying to keep things moving forward once a sale had been agreed.... Read more

Watsons Estate Agents - Kimberley

The agency owner visited me to explain how the company operates. He clearly went through the terms and costs. He explained what the following steps would be. He did outline that they had many direct contacts on their books and the sale of the property should be straight forward. On the day prior to going live they had already arranged a number of viewings and in real terms it was sold on the first day. Many people showed interest and so they asked for last and final offers along with proof that they were in a position to purchase. They managed to secure a sale of 12 % above the value the house was marketed at. Then COVID kicked in again in Novemver 2020. This led to considerable chasing on all.parts and the sale was confirmed and exchanged almost 4 months after commencing the process. I would recommend them again, especially if you are in a neighbouring area to their location.... Read more

Do you really want to work with an estate agent that could possibly knock thousands off your house or you lose a purchase, because they possibly forget to tell buyers of deadlines? Watsons neglected to tell me the final deadline for offers on a property. When I called to raise my offer I was told repeatedly that the deadline would have been made very clear to me, at no point did they even consider I was telling the truth. I was made to feel and treated like I was being dishonest. If I had left it at that I would not have been able to submit a final offer. Only after I had made a formal complaint was my final offer supposedly passed to the vendor. The communication from Watson’s has been littered with inaccuracies throughout the whole process. From the communication Watsons to myself I cannot be confident that the information supplied is accurate. But according to Watsons response I have been treated fairly. So treating someone fairly is: making them feel like and treated like they are being dishonest, only getting to submit a final offer after a formal complaint. Then told that it was just a miscommunication and they can understand why I feel I have been treated unfairly, implying that they treated me fairly and the it’s my feelings that are at fault.. The sad thing is most of these facts could have easily been checked easily. As something as critical as a deadline for final offers, and Watsons rely on someone remembering to tell you. I truly feel for anyone who have to deal with these people.... Read more

Really great service. I had my own individual agent, Deborah, who not only sold the property for me, kept in regular touch with the progress of the whole conveyancing process, which meant it moved far faster that it would have done otherwise. I really have been impressed by the service. I was selling another property at the same time with just an internet based estate agent, and whilst the internet service was much cheaper, everything stopped on the day we agreed a price, where as Royston and Lund have been with me every step of the process.... Such a bad service. Firs of all my wife rang to book viewing, no one rang her back and once she rang back to find out when is the viewing booked they clarifying that they did forget to call her. Also the day we went to view the property ,agent did not know anything about the vendors or anything about the property. And we put the offer and submitted all the documents no one did return to us to update what is happening with the offer. Very unprofessional and poor service. will not recommend to anyone....
