I have just been to fill my car up at the BP garage at South Milford this morning, my fuel was low so I needed some. I put £60 in then after looking at my receipt I noticed it was £1.45 a litre... what a rip off, I thought the Esso garage at Tadcaster was expensive at £1.37. I won’t be going there again and I suggest other people give it a miss, there are much cheaper garages around locally without travelling to the supermarkets.

Most expensive fuel on the planet!!!!!! At least 5ppl more expensive than even the motorway services,,,, didnt realise until I was filling up,,, good job I was only on the bike

We only use place as a last resort to get fuel - much more expensive than anywhere else.
Some staff are great. Others obviously failed the first term at Charm School and left.

I use petrolprices.com for the best value fuel in the area and this petrol station is never high on the list for my journey. I rarely use because of this.
The staff are always obtuse when I fill up containers for garden equipment- even though I follow all regs and use appropriate equipment for this process. The staff seem poorly trained in this area.
The food stock is probably ok if you live on ready meals. If you try and get basic ingredients however you are stuffed. In the ready meal selection it is difficult to find anything nutritiously balanced. You will find salads with a higher fat content than a Big Mac... just give me the basic ingredients and I will make my own.
You can however pick up a nice bottle of red - again not amazing value but fine if you get caught out

Really poor, I went up for the Sunday papers at 9:00 and it was closed for replenishment, back up at 10:15, still closed. I can’t get my head around this, really poor management and at risk of losing custom

Not 24hours. Cones across and shutter down. Phoned to see if I could just use the pump and pay on card, lady that answered the phone told me in a very stern voice "NO WE ARE CLOSED AND THATS WHY THE CONES ARE THERE, it will be at least 20 mins as we are taking a delivery. No waggons or HGVs in sight. Not the best as I have no fuel and need to get back to my job. Very disappointing.

The most disorganised poorly run petrol station in the UK. Card machines never work, let you fill up before they tell you. Under staffed and management useless

Other that sky high fuel prices, this service station has closed their automatic car wash. The reason that I was given was Covid-19 regulations. Absolute rubbish. The government have confirmed that auto car washes that are part of a service station may continue to operate. Absolutely useless.

Shocking service, asked for a coffee, ignored at the till, so went to the coffee till to be told I could only pay at the "normal" tills.

Great fuel station & convenience stop just a shame the prices are fairly high, despite this i would definitely recommend using it if your in the local area

So so expensive nearly 10p per litre more expensive than the nearby towns. I understand it's a semi rural location but at an average £5 per tank higher than other garages it seems very greedy. Combine the fuel prices with the shop prices I am surprised the staff are not dressed as highway men.

Convenient location and opening times, just one suggestion though - could there be a till just for fuel transactions please? Very frustrating when you're in a hurry and just want to pay for fuel but the people in front appear to have done their weekly shop and you have to wait for all the food to be checked out, bagged and then paid for! Alternatively, could some of the pumps be converted to support pay-at-pump perhaps?
