Had a bad experience trying to book a viewing for a rental property. The lady on the phone asked my salary, which was apparently slightly under the landlords requirements (Even though with tips I always make more). I understand that she might not have been able to take anything further but as soon as I had told her my salary she wouldn't let me get two words in and hurried me off the phone. Didn't ask if there was any other properties I would like to view or if there was anything else she could do for me. Made me feel quite small really, bad customer service and I won't be trying to view any more of their properties again.... Read more

We recently moved into a flat which was organised by SimnplyLet. Their whole system from start to finish was unique and very reliable, from viewing the houses up until we signed the dotted paper. I think the most unique aspect of their service was that they explained in great detail both our rights as tenants (which other letting agents tend to take advantage of as they know we as tenants generally tend to be pretty uninformed) as well as those of the landlord. I moved to Inverness last year on a years secondment role with work prior to relocating I had to find a property to rent for the year. I came across simply let on a search engine and arranged to view a few properties. My experience from start to end was extremely pleasant and professional. The business was a great letting agency overall what I mostly found was how close they seemed as a team. The letting director Kathleen was one of the most hardworking and dedicated people I met in Inverness she was always on the other end of the phone if anything went wrong. Simply Let were simply infallible - we contacted them in advance to arrange viewings for a few properties as we had to make a special trip from the opposite end of the country. They were amazing and very accommodating, arranging viewings at incredibly short notice. They were genuinely invested in helping us find a property to rent in Inverness. Simply let have been managing my property since 2005 and I have found them to be extremely professional and businesslike at all times. They have always managed to find responsible tenants quickly. They are members of recognised professional bodies and they keep up to date with the latest legislation. They offer levels of service to suit everyone. They carry out regular property inspections and I am always given notification of the findings. I am given notification if anything requires attention and they can arrange to get any repairs carried out promptly. They work equally in the best interests of both the landlord and the tenant. Simply let have been managing my property since 2010 and I have been very pleased with the speed at which suitable tenants are found and any issues with the property raised. I am delighted at they approach they take when carrying out inspections and telling the tenants what they need to do....and that then means that they adopt the same strategy with me. I was warned by other estate agents and previous tenants not to use simply let as they way they treated people and spoke to people. Well I wish I had listened me and my partner applied for a property through simply let. Our experience has been awful the way I have been spoke to us is down right disgusting they have been so unhelpful and so unorganized. They are extremely judgmental, rude and have no people skills. I was constantly talked over and belittled I have never experienced such awful service. The one and only reason we have withdrawn our application for this property is because of how we were treated and do not want to be treated in future. The staff at Simply Let have always been more than accommodating when I've asked for a short notice viewing. Looking for a house is never stress free but Simply Let always bent over backwards to reply to my emails quickly, check details with landlords and fit me in to view properties in the evenings when they're clearly not meant to be working.
