Even when there was no movement, Dain would call each week to say the same. He would provide facts not conjecture over the state of our house sale. The whole team however are excellent and I was confident in each one providing a viewing on my behalf

It was a very pleasant experience to deal with house hold company leaving this review after a while so not sure about the name of person how dealt with me (i think he was Peter)rented a flat in Drummonds he helped when I was stuck.thanks

Edit : I am not surprised that Peter is denying our experience & accusing me of telling lies, as mentioned that I was going through old stuff on my computer & came across this horrible emails & calls.
If any member of the public would like to listen to these phone calls or read those emails confirming everything I stated in this review contact me on Facebook (Haggag Hussien) and I will send them to you.
Awful ending after 16 years renting through Household ... Shame on Peter Norman and the Sales/Marketing staff ...
We have rented our property with them from 2003-2018 as we moved to Ireland, everything went like clockwork till we realized at the end of 2017 that the rent went up in the UK for the last three years and they never told us or offer an increase.. So, we decided to sell the house, the tenants refused to move out and Peter Norman started to take their side & treat us if we were stupid. We took the tenants to court & Peter promised to call us to come with the bailiffs to take the house back. On that day he went with the bailiffs without us & he called us to say that he changed the lock & the property is in a good order. When we entered the property it was in need of fixing alot of issues and Peter started to get nasty and was very unhelpful, and when we decided to sell the property with them he refused to let their maintenance team handle fixing the issues & carry out the refurbishment (even though we were paying for it) & he quoted (you are no longer a landlord with us and we are not allowed to help you in any way) as if we weren't their oldest landlords. We ended up spending a lot of money commuting for 6 weeks from Wellingborough to Luton apart from the hassle of finding tradesmen & materials for days to fix the issues .. Then the Sales Dept kept trying to push us to sell the property 20k cheaper than the market price to Mrs Shah (who has a property portfolio with them) & tried to intimidate us & treat us as idiots for their gain on our expense ... Their marketing efforts were very poor, we had to keep asking them to improve the sale listing and we had to place the ads for our property on other websites and put the sales phone numbers in the ads till the house was sold.
At the end we ended up loosing our savings and we sold the house after a very bad experience with household. If time goes back we would have never used them. And Peter Norman you turned to be unprofessional awful man.
I was just going through old emails and recorded phone calls between you and me and they made me sick ???? ???? I hope you will get back what you did to us.

I BOUGHT A HOUSE IN LUTON.ADAM FROM HOUSEHOLD HE WAS 1ST CLASS FROM START TO FINISH.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO DEAL WITH YOUR SALE OR PURCHASE.I NEVER TRUSTED AGENTS ,BUT ADAM WAS HONEST EFFICIENT AND ALWAYS KEPT ME UPDATED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.WE HAD A FEW PROBLEMS FROM THE TOP OF THE CHAIN, IN WHICH ADAM DEALT WITH IT WITH FLYING COLOURS HES A CREDIT TO HOUSEHOLD .I CANT SPEAK MORE HIGHLY OF ADAM AND HOUSEHOLD.MANY THANKS AND LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT PROJECT.THANK YOU ADAM AND HOUSEHOLD
